we are providing a list of examples to help channel members realize when their
actions have crossed the line.
Examples of Harassment as defined by the J-Body IRC
Administrators:
Name calling in channel or in private message after being
asked to stop by the person and/or a channel operator.
Mass messaging to channel members
Flooding a channel member in message
Hacking, nuking, smurfing, or any other method of attempting
to interfere with another user's online connection.
Constant rude remarks in channel concerning another channel
member whether the recipient of the remark or remarks is currently in channel or
not.
Messaging other users and attempting to besmirch the character
of another user. This also applies if the conduct occurs in the channel.
This list serves only as a guideline to actions which can
be considered harassment and which will warrant a temporary or permanent ban
from the channel.
