World's Quickest Street J, rolling chassis: Hahn RaceCraft Sunfire
Thursday, November 11, 2010
It's been a fun ride, but it's time to make room for new projects!

Sunfire Heat has been in the Hahn RaceCraft family for years since its debut in 2002 as one of two Ecotec J-bodies GM provided for us to build for the SEMA show (the other, of course, being our famous Cavalier Attitude). Since then, Sunfire Heat has been an ongoing testbed of our J-body turbosystem technology, developing faster and faster iterations of our systems, culminating in its current 640 WHP, 10-second street car configuration. My son Adam has done a helluva job working on it and driving it to mid-tens at 140 MPH in the 1/4 mile.

I'll be hanging on to the engine and peripherals for my current Solstice project, so it will sell less engine, perhaps also with turbosystem if the new owner would like. I'll be offering it in auction form on our website soon, but I wanted to give you folks here on the Org the chance to prepare, should one of you desire this fun car.

My preferred outcome is to see a true J-lover get this car and continue its proud history, perhaps in the Florida region. The right buyer can come down and help me pull the engine and learn a lot about the car in a hands-on environment. All the stock parts removed for weight reduction are included, as is a clean title.

I'd like to add that this car will likely sell for a very reasonable price to the right person. Don't be afraid to inquire if you are looking to build a badass J-body, for you can purchase this for a fraction of what it would cost to do yourself, and you know it's been done up right!
