Haha, I just ordered from them(i'm an idiot). But, god DAMN, TWENTY dollars for shipping? Then they want SIXTEEN more for tax? Uh yeah whatever, it costs five dollars to ship what I ordered.
Be happy you got my money, because I'm never giving it to you again.
First off, High Rev is an Illinois-based company. Which means, they have to charge you, who lives in Geneva, sales tax on what you buy. You shoulda known that right off the bat.
Second of all, what did you order? And if it costs less for shipping to buy from somewhere else, why didn't you just order from them?
Sounds like a classic case of poor planning.
High Rev is one of the few honest companies that caters to the J-body crowd. You really shouldn't talk trash about them. The different shipping charges are not their fault either. They do drop-shipping, which means they place an order with another distributor. If you have a problem with the shipping charge, you shoulda gone somewhere else.
What did you order? (Since you didn't specify)
I'm surprised to hear that.. they've been very good to the JBO community.. unlike GRD and many others... that all deserve the bad comments they get. <br>

I ordered an Autotrans Interceptor and a motor mount, should NOT cost more than five dollars.
They only offer $20 shipping, that is just ridiculous.

Why would I? You think they'd really bother to go "Oh ok, yeah, we DO rip you off on shipping, here, let us refund you"
you know what, fuk off we are trying to help you, your obviously an as$hole, oh well its your own fuking problem how much teh shipping is, if you didnt like the shipping cost you shouldnt have confirmed the order. <br>

How are you trying to help me? You're calling me an idiot, grow up.
Granted, I am a newbie and unfortunately I'm not familiar with HighRev Motorsports or any other company which you may have ordered from. However, I feel your post was in really poor taste. How is this a scam? Were you not aware of the shipping before you clicked the "submit order" button. If you are dissatisfied you should call the company, and I'm sure they would be more than happy to cancel the order for you, seeing that you believe you may be able to purchase the item for less money.
As far as sales tax, if they are registered to do business in a state, they must charge tax! That's just a given, you would have paid that anyway.
Sorry if I come off as rude, but I worked as a CSR for a company and I know how frustrating these complaints can be. Especially when they have done nothing wrong, don't want to pay that shipping, DON'T ORDER IT!

I just emailed them(because they are closed) asking them to cancel my order.
I'm getting my stuff from RK Sport instead, it ends up being $30 cheaper from RK.
High Rev = $207
Rk Sport = $188
How can anyone seriously recommend High Rev when they charge so much? I dont get it.
/me agrees with Amanda
CS is a pain sometimes.. especially when people don't read the fine print. I've been in CS management for almost 10 years.. it's a headache at times. Everyone tells stories on the bad stuff.. rarely the good! <br>

I read the fine print and I was aware of how much I was getting ripped off. I'm just trying to let people know they are a rip off, and that I will never go with them again.
Haha...
I think the autotrans interceptor is a scam! <br>

Is it? If it is, i'm cancelling my order ASAP.
Phil White: So as I understand this, you knew what you were paying for the product. You knew what you were paying for shipping. You placed the order agreeing to those terms. Then you come and say they ripped you off?
I agree with whoever called you an idiot.
HighRev is a completely respectable company who has served the j-body community well.
I don't see any reason to let this continue. <br>
