I live in Ontario and if anyone in the here and any states up nearby remember last February I beleive was when we got one huge snowstorm. That day I helped push out 5 or 6 vehicles one after another because they got stuck, I took my Cav out for a drive, never once did I get stuck and the tires I had were very worn. So my car was doing better then mini vans and larger cars. Cavs are alright in the snow!

ABS is kinda annoying, but I deal with it and I really HATE traction control...Only time its really come on for me was when I'm turning left onto another street and I'm trying to turn before the oncoming traffic gets to me. I have an Autotrans so my traction control is disabled and I prefer it that way. Traction control sucks! <br>

Last winter, I had my 98 RS out in the snow driving on the old dirt roads like a rally... I had 215-60-14 white-letters (knokc-off Michelins) and never once did I get stuck.

Only once did I have a hard time making it up the hill to my house... so, I spun the car around and backed up the hill... Weird how that worked better?

Yeah, everybody says the Blizzacks own. That douche from the tire place called me this morning saying the rims are in I was gonna buy Dunlops (studded) off him. Finding these Blizzacks so cheap tho, yet more expensive all together then the price he's charging. Eh.... It's all so hard!!

Oh BTW I was looking at your sig page and I think they're sweet as hell, can you hook a newb up??

After years of driving RWD Cutlasses in the snow my FWD Sunfire was a dream. Who needs traction control when you can play with the clutch and gas to keep the tires from spinning. The only bad part is the ABS. I've gone down a hill in my Dad's old Z24 conv., stepped on the brake and the stupid thing wouldn't stop! In my Cutlass I'd ease off the brake, roll a bit and then slid to a stop, letting the snow pile up and stop me. It's slow but it works! Now I don't leave first on hills until April!
