Production Figures

Does anyone know where to get information concerning the production figures for various years for the Cavalier? I'm trying to find out how many hatchback Z24's were produced in 86'. I have searched the internet but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

This is probably the best you are going to do:

Unless someone somewhere got some inside information, its damn near impossible to tell specific trim levels especially from that far back.

I've been talking with Pam Reese... she gave me model #'s for 03 and 04, including breakdowns for mexico and lordstown... I've asked her for specific model #'s for the rest...

She hasn't got back to me yet...

I called GM back in 95.
I was told that there were only about 11000 ( I think, I can't remember for sure, but they did give me an exact figure) Z-24s made all year. They also said they couldn't tell how many of those were retail units vs. test units.
With the typical heavy Auto bias of production cars, 95 Z's with Manuals must be pretty rare.
