Highrevmotorsports.com Problems?
Wednesday, February 23, 2005 12:58 PM
I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with them. I ordered an AEM CAI 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a thing. The other problem i am having is that i am from Canada and their site said they would contact me for a shipping quote before they ordered. Thats fine and dandy but they never contacted me and they charged my credit card without a quote so now i am paying more for the intake off the internet than at my local lordco autoparts. Also i have called them about 7-8 times and left several messages and emails and knowone has contacted me. I can't even cancel cause you all know it would show up anyways, oh wait a minute they don't seem to exsist.

If you really have tried to contact them and can't, call your credit card company and discuss your options.

I orderd a bunch of stuff from them awhile back and it took like a month to get the second half of my stuff.. When I called and asked why they said, "It's because it hasn't been shipped to us yet".. I then figured out that there just a middle man...

Did you order from the website or by phone?

Take many things into consideration my man, unless you pay to get it overnighted it takes awhile, just chill bro, HighRev will not leave you hanging.

I dont think he's worried about being left hanging, hes more mad becuz they said they would contact him about shipping, never did, and went ahead and charged his card anyway

Thats the one. I don't care if it comes in 2 months the fact that they would charge without a final quote is just poor buisness. plus they charged me so much that it is cheaper almost anywhere i can find even at my local lordco.

i called visa and they said that if the product doesn't arrive 30 days after expected delivery then they will refund my money. they said since they never told me when it would arrive and never contacted me about a shipping quote or date that my money will be refunded 30 days from when i ordered it. I called Highrev after 5pm Eastern time and nothing. plus i emailed them again and called RSM Racing since they share a number and they said that their number and email are the only way i will get a hold of them. so now i guess i just wait.

Sniper IF you go the VISA route, just tape a note to your door that states something like. Refuse ALL deliveries from High Rev so the part gets sent back to them.

Highrev sucks. I will never deal with them again. Do a charge back on your card and order through someone else.

alright. like i posted before. DONT DEAL WITH HIGH REV. i bought GC coilovers from them and they charged me and i didnt get them for 1 month and no tracking number. I did what you did and called, faxed and wrote MANY e-mails. You wont get a response til you are aggressive. Send many many faxes and e-mails. they will get back to you eventually. Tell them how you will never come back to High Rev and ask to speak to the person in charge over there. They nevered returned any of my calls or e-mails or faxes, just be an ass and get your products or get you money back and go somewhere else.

I have just been informed that at the moment they are TOTALLY SWAMPED with calls and emails. I was told to call them and leave them a message, and they will get back to you ASAP.

thats a great excuse. i mean next time i don't do something at work i will just say i am swamped and it will all go away (YA RIGHT!!!!!!). I don't care how busy they are, they should get some help or something. its really not that hard to pick up the phone. i have managed to phone them several times and i am very busy. well i bet they won't be very busy after all these bad posts. i am thinking of going to all the other major fourms for other cars they support and start this same thread.

how are you supposed to call and leave a message when then answering machine does not pick up? All you get after about 20 rings is "please enter your password" which means they have a full mail box.

flame me if you want, but i've had problems with highrev in the past, and there is at least ONE negative post on highrev every week in the general forum, i dont give care if someone says they are "good people" well those good people need to show some respect to their want-to-buy customers.

hmm. i got my stuff realtively quick from them. and it was a good experience for me. but i know that they are real small, like 4 or five people maybe? i agree though if they are this swamped they should be doing something about it.

it's not ghetto, it's "in progress"

people do leave messages, never get called back. even our club memebers have trouble getting a hold of them.
slowgreenfire:
they only have 2 people there from what i hear

coming on here and making a post about not getting your part in time does not make your part get there any faster.
