Hello, John!
If I only had a nickel for everyone who asks me this...I'd would be one rich sunnuva...
I so wished i would have known about this before i would have started the car before i did..
So when are you coming to Pheonix Arizona area? I know we have World of Wheels every year, but I've never paid attention to exactly when. I just finished swapping the interior of my 2003 Cavalier with a 2001 Sunfire. As well as sporting Honda S2000 seats and a 2000 trunk/97 taillights. (taillights are temporary).
I need to know when so hopefully I can step up my build and get my interior finished.
Hey All...getting the classes set up and I am happy to announce we will have THREE seperate classes for J-bodies; 1st gen, 2nd gen and 3rd gen.
We have some sweet J-Bodies already entered and would certainly like to have some more!

Ther are enough 1st gens entering? We don't even get enough 1st gens at the bash to have a seperate class for them anymore. They're usually put in with the second gens.

I think they mean the 1988-1994's as the first gen, then the second gen is 1995-2002, and third gen is 2002-2004.
This is how I took it.
YES! I am actually the Co-Manager of the Chicago World of Wheels Show and will be there all week from Monday afternoon till a week from Monday. I would love to meet anyone from the show (or just attending the show!) and talk about the AutoRama Extreme, or just shoot the bull.
I will be running around in every direction, so if you can't find me by going to the show office, hit my cell 586-549-5291 and we can meet at a "designated" place.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Thanks/BA

Bob,
I have a type j front getting painted right now, as well as the rest of my interior in a "glossy" white. I have also changed my taillights as well. I plan to have seats in the car by march for sure.
My car won't be in any contention to win awards, like jeremy's or Ian's, but it will be nice and clean and fit in well with the j-body's I believe. I'll be in touch.
Don't worry Brett, my car won't be there so you won't have to worry about competing against me. I had planned on doing this show for a while but i'm just not going to have the time or money for it.
Well here is an update; we are almost full, with close to 100 entries on the Tuner side. We have more vendors than anticipated and we have an awesome deal with 89X that includes live broadcasts from the show Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Courtney Hanson from Chip Fooses' "Overhaulin" show will be on hand Saturday and we have two differant DJs, (one Male, one Female) along with a break dancing team.
The Good News for the J-Body enthusiasts is that I think we have more J-Bodies than anything! We will have THREE seperate classes and a whole bunch of awards.
Thanks to all who signed up and if you haven't but want to, we have about 5-6 more spots to fill. Give me a call at 586-549-5291 if you have any questions or want to snag one of the last few spots.

Got a couple more J-bodies entered this week! Looks like you guys (and girls) will indeed be well represented!
Thanks to all who have entered and to those who didn't, be sure to make it to the show and show your support for your fellow J-Body enthusiasts that are able to represent!

Uh-oh...looks like maybe the Neon & S/RT gang has taken the lead on entries...but right now, it is neck and neck! Have room for a few more J-Bodies! www.autoramaextreme.com
