Gravana on vacation?
Wednesday, March 30, 2005 2:01 PM
I was just wondering if anyone knew if Gravana was closed for spring break or on vacation, I have been unable to get any email replies from them since placing an order on 3/23.

The part might be shipped already, which is great, but some kind of communication from them would be nice. I am not complaining or putting them down I am just trying to schedule when I will be able to work on my car , arrange for time off from work and set up appointments to have other things done but can not do it since I do not know anything about my order.

If anyone knows anything please post here or send a reply to mwolfgeher@kc.rr.com

From the voice mail message that is on his machine it sounds like he is sick so he may not be in. Either way dont worry you will get your stuff in a timely manner.

Like I said before I am not mad, I would just like info.

I called today but did not leave a message, just in this day and age people usually answer emails faster than messages on a machine.

I am sure I will get what I ordered, I do not know about anyone else but I usually like to get things lined out and planned before I do anything to make sure there are no surprises or unexpected delays. When I only have 1 car to drive, I have to make sure it is usable to get to work.

Besides I have read other posts on here about people who have not even waited 3 days for parts to show up.

I haven't heard from him since the 23rd but I ordered on the 16th. I still haven't got what I ordered. He told me it was in stock. I hear alot of good things about him, but I'm starting to get pissed, it's been over two weeks. Now I'm getting no response. Not to impressed so far.

I talked to Jim this morning and he's in and out of the shop today and sounds f'n horrible. He's been out for most of the week. He is for sure behind and is slowly getting caught back up. I may head up there this weekend to help him get caught back up.

Hey, I was in the same boat as you, I ordered the Koni sport kit on the 23rds, the CC Company F'd up, charged me the money, then told Jim my card was denied, then they kept trying to charge me again and again and it wouldn't go through because there was no more money in my account (they got it the first time) And then like Weds the money got credited back to my account, I sent Jim an email telling him to run the card again, Then the kit showed up on Friday! Awesome, but I didn't hear from Jim at all on the phone or by email, I was really worried but the stuff got here, so to everyone else that is worried just hold your horses. I know hes a busy guy and if hes sick I hop he gets better soon and I give him props for taking care of the issue with the stupid CC company and getting my stuff to me before the weekend so I can use the only time I got in the next month to get these suckers installed.
Thanks Jim, Get well soon!

Sure seems like everyone is happen with their purchase and has received what they ordered or at least received a reply. I still have not heard anything for over a week and a half now, no part and no replies to any inquiries into my order.

A business is a business all customers should receive the same kind of service, I guess my little order of a rear sway bar just was not on the top of the list. If I sound upset or not understanding of the situation they are in, it is true.

Like I stated earlier, I will probably get what I ordered, but the time frame in which I finally receive it is just way too long. I am sorry if I upset those on the JBO that are so satisfied with Gravana service, that just shows that you received the customer service that they are known for, but I have not received it.

Put aside your dealings with them at look at what has happened to my order, if it were you , you would be saying the same things. I have read many posts on here of members that tell of their unsatisfied service with other companies, so I posted about mine. I just would like what I ordered plain and simple.

I whole heartedly agree, you should have at least been contacted so you know "whats up" that was the same problem I had, no response to emails, etc and not knowing what the heck is going on, its not a good feeling. You being upset is in now way unfounded,
Maybe Jim will let us know when hes back what was going on, because when I made my initial order he was very helpful and gave excellent advise, then after that I didn't hear much, Im sure there's a good reason for it, but like you said, its a business and there should have at least been somebody returning phonecalls and answering emails.

Agreed.... BUT, you have to understand something could always come up to screw up an order... Whether it's out of stock, a shipping problem, or internet/phone issue, being sick, etc. Anything can come up at the worst time. When it's a 1 time issue like that, with circumstances that are unkown at this point, I think it's kind of hard to complain. but I guess that's just my point of view.

I do understand that things out of a companies control can happen, but the fact still remains that 11 days have passed with no word about the order at all.

Omg you had to wait less then a month for your parts LOL Be patient instead of being a cry baby. It's not like Jim is gonna rip you off, your GONNA get your part soon. Be patient and RELAX. I would understand if it would be over a couple of months but come on man..... give it time and keep trying to CALL him instead of relying on emails.

When you are told it is in stock and will ship within 24 hrs you should not have to wait for over a week and a half for it, or send numerous emails to find out about it. I have ordered from other JBO companies and received excellent service, customer feed back and parts arriving in a timely manner. I am just comparing to other places I have dealt with.

As a customer who has already paid for an item, I should not have to continuously contact a company to get what I have ordered.

By the way 2o3cavi, didn't you post awhile back about having problems with an order you placed with Winks and everyone was telling you that you would get your parts. I do not remember anyone calling you a cry baby! By the way this is not grade school. I have not ever name called anyone on here and do not care for someone doing it to me.

I do not know if you got what you ordered, but I would think that you would know why I posted on here.
