Cavalier Extreme.com - Sponsorships
Friday, May 20, 2005 9:47 AM
Hello everyone!

Over the past few months, I've had several e-mails each day with different customers asking if we would be offering sponsorships anytime soon. Well, the main answer to this at the time was no. However, we've now decided to open things up and make it interesting!

Here's how it works:

E-mail me all of your information: admin@cavalierextreme.com This includes -

Full Name
Address
Birthday
Phone Number
Vehicle Year, Make, & Model
Modifications
Pictures

AND

Include one paragraph as to why you think you would be vital to the company and what you plan on offering for us. Please inform us of why we should choose YOU as our sponsored vehicle**.

Please note: We are currently only looking for those vehicles that are pretty much complete and are looking to help out. We cannot offer sponsorships to stock vehicles for the time being.

Discounts: You'll receive 10% off mostly everything* listed on the website, and MUCH more. We carry every product that A+ Performance carries...so that should make things easy for you to choose And yes, this DOES include a 10% Discount on the Turbo Kits.

If your vehicle is chosen to be sponsored by CavalierExtreme.com, you will need to attend a minimum of at least four car shows per year (such as Nopi, Hot Import Nights, J-Body Bash, etc.) OR at least 12 car MEETS per year (such as a monthly J-Body meet). You will also need to be able to place one sticker on each side of your quater panel window. These will be mailed to you FREE OF CHARGE. They are available in any color you may be interested in doing. Banners are also available, but are not free, and are not required.

*The 10% Discount may not apply to specific products such as RKSport items. Some discounts may be more than others, such as custom fiberglassing products.

**More than one vehicle will be chosen to be sponsored. You will be e-mailed upon our decision.

Thank you very much, and we look forward to doing business with everyone in the near future!

I'm not at all trying to sound like an a**hole but like myself, I would be a little more interested if you offered more products than a turbo kit & motor mounts. 10% off a turbo isn't that great sounding (even if I wasn't planning on getting a GM charger). I think other people might feel the same about the sponsorship.

To me, $300 is a big discount.

I guess that's just me though!

Like I said, we offer EVERYTHING that A+ Performance carries because he is one of our drop-shippers. I can get anything...I just haven't had the chance to add it ALL to the site.

jeeez...chill out people, it's a new business, I'm sure he can't afford to go around giving people half off...if you don't want to apply, then don't...there are some out there I'm sure that probably saw this and thought it was a great idea....this might be a great deal to some. What's with all the negativity? I think it's awesome there's yet another person/company stepping up to help out with the J's!

He said it exactly ^

Because we're such a new company and trying to start out small right now, it's hard to offer items at 50% off or "FREE" products. We're looking for someone that's willing to help us out while we help them out. It's a mutual agreement. Fortunately, we've already found a few people, and I should have the website updated within the next week or two with our sponsored cars.

If anyone is still interested, feel free to e-mail us.

i would love to help you out. i feel my car is sponsor worthy but i just dont go to shows very often and im not going to drive my car 90 miles each way to the nearest meet every month.

Re: Cavalier Extreme.com - Sponsorships

I'm intrested... and could meet the show requiremnts in a few months (plus all the rolling advertising I'd do with my 40 mile one-way drive to work)... Just right now I feel my car is too stock for any type of sponsership

I'll give ya a try next year when I have more than an intake & short throw for proformance and some minor reflective vinal for exterior mods

i understand that you're a new company.. but heres the thing:
whats in it for us? not to sound selfish, but we dont work for you, you dont pay us money like an employee, so wheres the motivation to advertise for you? if you're not going to pay us to basically work for your advertising campaign, you better offer something worth while. 10% is such a small discount that it barly makes sponsorship worth it, because we'd basically be doing advertising work for your company for the cost of shipping on our parts... the money i spend on gas to go to all these shows and meets to do FREE advertising for you would add up to more than the money i saved on your parts. So even tho i understand completly that you cant afford huge sponsorships, you have to understand that we're not going to want sponsorships for the good of YOUR company, we'll want them for what we can get out of it, since we're not your paid employees.

Re: Cavalier Extreme.com - Sponsorships

a lot of people think being sponsored means you've hit the big time... so obviously people are going to bite on your offer because they like saying they're sponsored, but they're going to end up spending more on hotels and traveling than they get back from your offer, and you're making out with quite a steal.
you have to give your sponsored cars a reason to be loyal to you. some people will be loyal to you just because they like saying they're sponsored, but a lot of people need a better reason. Lets face it... none of us have any legitimate reason to be loyal to a company we're not a part of and know little about. we have no say in your company decisions and business relations, we're not a part of your business, so why should we loyally help your advertising campaign and boost your sales if we dont see a dime of it? for a 10% parts discount? id rather just pay full price and not have to worry about making enough shows to make a company i know nothing about happy with me.

you have too much time on your hands buddy....first he just started up ....so give him a break and i am not sayin this cause i am sponosred by him...it's about tryin to help someone out in the long run....think about it that way....you really didn't need ot run your mouth about how 10% is not good enough...should have just kept ya mouth shut..who knows maybe after the first year things will be different...just be glad there is a company that is tryin to help the j's out...Tard

This is plain and simple guys. If you agree to the terms given about by Frank then apply to the sponsorship. If not shut up mouth and stop whinning about it. Not that hard to understand.
