Praise/Beware post *Please read*

Okay, I don't know how some of u will feel about this idea. But I was wondering if you all would like to start a praise/beware post. This could help potential buyers on this site from getting burnt. Instead of making a new post everytime you have a pleasent or unpleasent transaction, just post it on here. That way we can easily find a name if we need to and we can find out information about someone in one post without having to search and search and search. I know I am skeptical about everyone after Scott Machin and would like to know some information on people before I buy off of them. I see new posts everyday that are either praising people or warning people of other j-body sellers. I feel this would be much easier than searching through every beware/praise post. This can work for companies and sellers as well, if u all would want it to (just anyone who does business over this community). This also may help some of the more shy people post their experiences. If you all think this is a good idea, just jump on the bandwagon.

I will begin....
BEWAREVERY unpleasent transaction with Scott Machin... never did recieve item or money-- $150 lost.

Not sure yet Recently sent a cashier's check to Rocky Anderson for a front bumper... I'm sure it hasn't gotten there yet (I sent it Saturday). I will let everyone know about my experience, when I recieve my item.

I was just giving an example to start this post out. I know there are two different posts on Scott Machin. I've read every post in both of them. I wanted to get this one started though and I haven't bought anything off anyone else. + other people can add whoever they've had problems with or not had problems with. If someone is thinking about buying off someone, another person with experience with that seller can warn the buyer or praise the seller OR the buyer can come to this post and find a person's name and read up on the seller before he/she buys.

Yelp.........
I have a huge reason as to why I don't prefer searching for this crap (one of them being I can never find information on a seller I am wanting to buy off of). But I don't feel like thoroughly explaining myself... I don't care. I am just trying to think of a way that would make buyers on here more comfortable because buyers should be comfortable before they buy. I know there are a lot of sellers... and we could never praise or not praise them all, but if people could praise whoever they have a good or bad transaction with, then do so. No point in being a sm@rta$$ about it. I promise.

I think this is a good idea...there are lots of people who maybe haven't bought or sold anything on here yet, and therefore, there would be no good/bad posts about them..this is kind of starting a list, of good or bad people...as more people buy and sell, more people will be on the list....

Samantha - if you want a change to happen, talk to the mods about it and see if they'd be willing to sticky the thread for you, etc.

i doubt they will...because how do you stop people from whoring the crap out of the thread? i doubt, also, that they'd be willing to sit there and police that thread more than the rest of the forum, just to keep irrelevant posts out of it.

still...talk to the admin team, and see what THEY say.
