Theres no reason to lock this, its all in good fun... I've had alot of good times with people I know through the .org, flying through downtown chicagos undergorund tunnels with some of the minnisota J's, me and rated Z taking turns buy rounds at the bar, chicago meets are a blast - half drunken bowling hahaha, cody (meltdown350) jumped on cheesecake and broke his glasses so he couldn't even drive to work hahaha, DTP.... man I don' even know what to say about him... how can you not love the little hick. me and lowfire got all liquored up last weekend and called cody at liek 2 am cause we were argueing abou somehtign to do with wisconsin hahah, me and ken96z took a ride out to a meet up in madison and hung out with a bunch of wisonsin J's for the day, me andKen2.2 have had MANY late nights in his heated garage over the past few monthes, caviefreak driving out from bumble so we could hit up the bars.... list goes on and on

the org has brought many good times, I'll sure there will b many more. Alot of the people I talk to on a regular basis are people from the org.....and I can't wait for the bash

me loves teh JBO

i find that this site is great for specific info about Js.... however its completly run on politics and if you dont post 500 times per month or kiss the popular people's asses you're scum on this site. not to mention the almost stock Js that get crazy recognition and JOTM votes just b/c they post a lot and people see their username all over the site. Though the info on this site is great... of all the car-related message boards ive been on this is the absolute worst site when it comes to being open minded and realistic. If you speak your mind on this site and your popular, everybody agrees and sucks your balls... if you speak your mind and your not popular, you're flamed into the ground.... regardless of whether you're comments are accurate or not. Not to mention all the people who are so gung-ho-chevy and unnecessarily brand-loyal that they thing their econo @!#$box is the sweetest car in the world, and rip on anyting else thats not a J, because they wont be real about their car really is.

I'm with dark stars, most people I talk to on a regular basis are from the org...its crazy...stupid website takin over people's lives...lol

im here for 5 years now and it makes me fall in love with my car and spend my time and cash on it.

Because i wanted bodykit and mods, i went to bar and drinking just one beer in the place of 3 or 4 to have more cash on the car!

Great to be here!

As someone who was ostracized (and still is to a lesser degree) when he first joined, i can say that lies and liars will always be revealed. If you know you're right on something and you're sticking to the Terms Of Service™, no one could really touch you--not even a mod (and no, i'm not a mod). Because really, i know Dave is not so shallow that he would allow someone with decent things to say--on-topic or off, and doing it in a quasi-civilized manner to be banned or unnecessarily censored just because a mod doen't like them.

As for populatiry and all that--it's a red-herring. People will like you and they'll hate you, and it's usually because of the content of your character and the type of person you are. When i started, i was rather un-popular (for the older folks here, does "ghey devil-worshipping homo" still make you laugh as hard as it makes me laugh?), but i earned respect ebcause some people here--the cool ones, realized, "hey, he may be weird, but he's cool, and has cool things to say."

Even though i've been around for a long time, people still give me crap, don't agree with me, and flip me crap. it happens--on a 10,000+ person site, it's bound to. And there are people that sometimes i wonder about that in posts seem to idolize me--when i'm not an idol. Then there are others on here that i don't agree with all the time (like hahaha, for example), but is cool and respectful to me, as i hope i am back to him.

Really, the trolls will always be there, people will always flip you crap for whatever reason. Don't let it get under your skin.

So true, but this is a fun forum to be a part of. I have been here since 2001 also and it is cool to check out the progress of everyones vehicles since then, either working on their J's or starting on new projects.

This place helped me out tremendously when I would be in the market for new parts for the cavy.

Have a good one,
Justin
