if you guys haven't already done so, check out the current issue of Motor Trend, its got a whole issue talkin about how chevy is gonna redo the SS line. also they have a great idea(at least i think so). of using the Holden cars as a basis for the newer generation of sports cars(chevelle, camaro, even an el camino, lol) and the holden brand is a quality brand in south asia and australia. i wanna see if i can find pics on the website maybe......

If you find 'em, post 'em, cause I'd definetly be interested in seeing 'em.
The more I think about Ron Love's questions about so many nametags, it ends up being quite simple. Chevrolet has so many nametags so it can have more dealerships in an area, without them having to compete with each other. If they cause themselves to be their own competition, they win no matter which nametag makes the sale. Its rare you'll see 2 chevy dealers in the same general area, but you'll see 1 of each chevy, gmc, pontiac and so on. Though I understand pretty perfectly now why they do this, I still think it waters down the lineups of GM. Its a great marketing idea, unfortunately.
