So true, but this is a fun forum to be a part of. I have been here since 2001 also and it is cool to check out the progress of everyones vehicles since then, either working on their J's or starting on new projects.

This place helped me out tremendously when I would be in the market for new parts for the cavy.
Very true!

This site have helped me to grow in any way. Also seeing how much and how long this have been bringing me on this long bumpy road with my car! Especially lot of my dad's help! I couldn't thank him enough!

i also have to agree that this is an awesome place...i also have met lots of very close friends on the org...and yes although you dont think your getting recognition...trust me people know you...although im not sure that is really the important part of the org...the important part is that we all need to try and get a long and help out as much as possible...

as far as the recognition goes though...i think i have a pretty decent car and have an after market piece just about everywhere you can put one on the exterior part of the car and yet still not as much love as i would like "cough ryan cough darkstars"

darkstars "ryan" yes that was an incredible amount of fun coming to that meet in chicago and then buyin some rounds in the bar after everyone else said they thought we should get going...heres us 2 still loadin up on drinks

although i was a bit leary on meeting darkstars...i mean look at his pic for christ sake..he looks like a little cocky 18 year old....but it turns out hes a great person to know

and as far as DTP goes...i really need to meet this guy as well...and who knows...maybe HE WILL PAINT MY CAR..."but hopefully we get no pink triangles goin on" j/p thats a hell of a long drive for paint though...maybe we could do it at the bash as long as im over that way lol

but in closing...i have gained a lot of friends here and hope to continue this...i never intended to get this involved when i first became a member...

this thread makes me want to go premium AGAIN well screw it why not...

oh and who knows...maybe with enough posting darkstars will actually learn how to type without any typos...

Ryan? no typos? not happening. yes darkstars does look like a cocky high school kid, but that's coming from a guy that looks like me, so uh...yeah, we'll just leave that go.

Rated Z, I'll be at Super 8 in Avon, so look around for me, I shouldn't be hard to spot, I think I'm gonna have a white paper plate around my neck with my name on it lol

i dunno what you are talking about... i hate everybody. lol j/k really though... i have been around for a while and enjoy being around to help people out because i know that i learned a lot of things i did with these cars the hard way. i've driven tons, built and seen many built. if i can help someone save money or get some more bang for their buck, i'm all about it.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

I blame all of you for getting me addicted. JBO is singlehandedly responsible for the constant drain on my finances.

I wouldnt trade it for anything.

I have been on here since like 1999 or 2000, when there was only like 750 members. I have seen it grown through out the years and its great. If I hadn't had the help from everyone here, my car would still be stock looking with coilover(ouch!!). Thanks for all the help through the years guys.

yes i did mean it in a good way... i love modding my car now... i never would have thought a cavy would look so good, i would have never thought a cavy could handle so good till now, or would have so many performance parts now thanks to the people on the org that made it happen THANKS GUYS ..... i mean i havent done any extreme mods like everyone else i mean i do little stuff here and there but its still fun and the ending result is worth every dime IMO....
