What to look for when getting a 3rd Gen Cavy?

May go and look at a Toyota Cavalier this week what sorta things should i look out for????

Weird... the hood has the Chevy emblem, but the description says that the steering wheel has the Toyota symbol... make up your mind GM!

Oh and I love this part:

Yeah its actually a RHD Toyota Cavalier but someone has badged it as a Chevy and stuck loadsa decals on it?!!?

What do you think of the car itself and have you heard of the lowering springs/intake/exhaust and if so what arte they like??

That's classic.... here in the states, everybody tries to turn their Chevy Cavalier into a Toyota Cavalier, while in Japan and Europe, they want their Toyota Cavalier to be a Chevy Cavalier..

I'm going to look at it on Thursday night and its about 70 miles away from me so i'm taking the cash for it so i can buy it then and there if its good!!!!


Oh yeah!!! Hopefully there will be a post by me in the photo and media section sometime on Fri/Sat!!!!!

Watch out for loosers who constantly yap about what a rotten car the Cavalier is, and how much greener the grass is on the other side of the fence.

Alot of these people drive J's and are members here. Others have purchased another car now, but like to hang around and brag about how much better their new car is.

I have to agree.

But anyways, ask if the water pump has ever been replaced.
