I'm pretty sure you flat out lied in your description of the car. Everywhere I have read says the toyota cavalier is identical to the US in terms of parts, not "where the vehicle came with high end parts". Then again I didn't know toyota made a trd cavalier so who knows.

Eric if you knew anything about me you would know that I DON'T LIE and to say that is straight up stupid. Dont believe me then ask EROD he has known me for a few years now. For other people saying stuff about the Toyota Cavalier well once again that comes to there views. Alot of them dont get the whole JDM thing or dont care. But some do and love it, for the parts YES they are RARE and did come more high end. So before making a post like this ask questions, people on here will be more then helpful to answering them for you.

You don't seem to understand, I have looked online, and read a fair amount on the Toyota Cavalier, they were made in the same plant as Chevy cavaliers, had the same engine, and the interior was made from the same stuff ours is. So unless you are calling a carpeted trunk lid a "superior" part, you still haven't explained what you meant in your auction? Yes they did have a few different peices, mirrors and tail lights I beleive and mabye a few others, but they were not higher quality, just a different design. Instead of saying you "DON'T LIE" how bout explaining the differences between the chevy cavalier and toyota cavalier in terms of quality? I'd also love to see a link to TRD where they list what they did to the cavalier, or any link on that for that matter, I am a toyota fan also and would love to see it!
um, well, personally I would call parts MADE by TRD superior. i.e. the body kit.

your a toyota fan huh.. then why dont you know about all the better parts that where used on the toyota cavalier. and the fact that TRD racing made 2 diffrent models of the TRD cav.. the one you see blue selling and a lower line model. the is also the limited edition models. with red toyota badgeing. and leather treatments. some models also came with toyota navagation.
thats just some of the things. i know that are better then the standerd cav.
and i wish i had the money.. come on send the car to my house for the weekend.

if they were the same as a US spec cavalier , they would be left hand drive , they wouldnt have the poper for the gas door , the park brake would be on the left instead of the right , they would have the same tails , and same lights all the way around
they have alot different and better options than the US cavs have , no where does he say its a caddilac equavalant of the cavalier

Leather seats? an e-brake on the otherside...this is "better". it's a RH side automatic Z24 with a genuine TRD kit. the kit is the only thing that is....great that i see. the fact that it's RH driver or has leather seats does not equate "better" what "parts" on it are in fact of better quality. I don't call him a liar, it looks real from what i remmeber of the JDM J's. but it is an innacuracy to call it's parts "better" Especially if you personally can not list nor explain why it has "better" parts.

the TRD kit is one of the best kits i've seen thus far...it's well made, and fits(no test fitting needed!!). i've yet to see a TRD kit that looks BAD on the car for which it was intended(see profile for mine).

Actually he said "These babies were the higher end products that GM made", GM used the same parts for the Toyota as the Chevy version, with as I said "different" pieces not superior. He also said the Toyta Cavalier came "with high end parts", not that TRD was the only high end parts on the car. Also where is the Toyota TRD link?? I keep looking for one, but I can not find a single toyota site with the TRD Cavalier, nor can I find any that sell the TRD parts. Someone point me in the right direction please?
Toyota hasn't sold Cavaliers in Japan since 2000... TRD hasn't made any new parts (other than the body kit and suspension) since then either. The stuff that WAS on the trd japan site is LONG GONE. You won't find such a site anymore, sorry man.
Why would Toyota keep 5 year old stuff on their website? Think about it.

They are.
And they ALL were exported with the sunfire rims. (with little Toyota center caps)
The reason I asked about the TRD site is because I can still find parts for the mr-2 second gen which hasn't been made in 10 years.
Chevy built every piece that went into these cars they are just right hand drive cavaliers.
TRD only did the body kit and wing didnt add anything special to the car or do any upgrades under the hood. That would be like saying the Razzi cavaliers are something limited and special, well there not its just a body likt on that one also. If you like it great I'm not gonna tell you not to buy it . In fact good luck with your bids in anyone is trying to get it, but its still way too much for a cavalier from any country. If you look in the international classfieds that you can find on the web these things are going for
only like $2,500 To $4,000 american. Then its just a mater of shipping and handling charges. True this is for a regular old Toyota Cavalier and not a TRD version but since
GRAVANA sells the TRD style body kits whats the difference? The way I see it is like this, why should I spend $25,000 on a car when I can spend less then half that for the same thing? But if you've got it like that hey good for you. But I don't like throwing away my money.

Toyota Technocraft (aka TRD) built the special edition Toyota Cavaliers. They were only 50 of them, compared to 20,000 or so regular Toyota Cavaliers. And that, compared to 10 million regular Chevy Cavaliers.
Getting one of them back into the US, without it getting crushed by US Customs, is going to cost the importer LOTS of $$$$... those fees and inspections and all have already been paid for by BLUE. That car, in the USA, is worth every cent of the $20,000 asking price.
Aside from the mirrors (which are from Toyota.. there's Japanese writing all over them), the rest of the car WAS made by GM. That's nothing new, we've all known it for years.
