My views:
1. The ads in the treads are fine. (Good format.) If your not premeum then you have to live with it. It is not that bad.
2. Dave if I was you I would add some ads to the left side of the sceen in the blue area.
3. Dave good job on keeping the org around and fuctioning.
4. Please no pop-ups, god please just no pop-ups.

Bandwidth is not cheap. Bandwidth for 30,000 people is beyond some people's comprehension I guess.
yea but the point is... that "adbot" is wasting bandwidth... from what i understand that you actually have to get people to click on a link in order for it to profit.... sorry to tell you but those links google puts up are worthless.... so no clicky on linky..... so no money in the bag so to speak....

I am utterly appalled by the conduct on this board. I came here expecting a haven for the free exchange of thoughts and ideas regarding our mutual interests in autos. I was even considering paying the $2.00 for the premium membership. But the conduct of Dr.Paul84, whose conduct is that of an ill tempered vagabond who enjoys urinating on children, has dissuaded me from doing so. FOR SHAME!!! I would expect this sort of conduct in a Dolph Lundgren or Lorenzo Llamas forum. But in a auto forum?!?! This is indeed a sad day for humanity. To think I would have gleefully clicked on all of the links in each post, time and time again, to generate cash for this once believes paradise. But now I weep bitterly for us all.

My take on the premium issue is this:
Premium members should be given extra features on the website, not just a relief from COMPLETELY annoying and damn near unethical (see popups) advertisement. So now we (non-premies) have non-access to premium member forums (totally fine), a limited post count (once again, sucky, but fair is fair) and an omnipresent ad system to combat with if we don't pay up. Give me a break.

As long as people are paying tp post on here he should have to answer to them. If you want to take the it is my site I do what I want, then do not charge people to deal with the crap. We already have to deal with crapy mods, and a crapy owner, and now a crap ADBOT. I have been on many other forums as good as this one, if not better, and they do nto have that. Not in a post.
