I can't remember how long I've been here for.. I think it was before the 3000 mark.. definitely before the resign up, sunfy, clubsi "takeover", etc. I think I was here in 2000.

LOL, Jenny Jo's "Lick It" thread, the biggest single thread ever on the .org. It got so big that my last post on there took 45 minutes to load, LOL. I think I was the last dial-up member to post on that.

I remember the big "3000" mark, and how everyone was predicting we'd beat club SI in members after awhile, LOL.

I remember people upset because Genertec Racing Development shut down, therefore we had a drop in aftermarket parts availability for awhile.

The KOTL wars, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Weasel used to be a post-whore.

Dave was the only mod.

Debates over wether the 2000 facelifts were good looking or not.

When I first started reading JBO... it looked like this:

but apparently I didn't register until 2002... wtf? I remember all the changes before that.. and re-registering when the forums were changed over... there's gotta be something wrong with that date.

rksport board vs JBO board fights

someone from RK would come over here and start something, then someone would come from here and start something there, then there'd be like a 3-4 page post on both sites about "they always have to start something"

heh.. a couple other things people who are "old school should remember...

-pasting in your sig back in the day before logins if you wanted a sig you had to paste it into the end of every post. I remember being bitter because Dave hadn't implemented guest logins yet so I had to still paste my sig for a couple months while everyone else got to login and have it automatically added to their post.

- the achoo thread (predates the lick it thread and instead of lick it was hundresd of posts of people saying bless you) I think it was one of the first threads to break 100 posts.

<A HREF="http://www.precizion.org/forums/"><IMG SRC="http://www.brew-san.com/pics/sig.jpg" border=0></a><A HREF = "http://www.precizion.org/forums/"><IMG SRC="http://www.j-body.org/registry/kenz24/precizionsmall.gif" border=0></A>
Re: Old School Check-in

hehehehe.

I'd almost forgotten about that one.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the "achoo" threaded was the one that pushed Dave over the edge and made him create the OT forum.

Then the "Lick It" thread was one of the very first in the OT forum and caused Dave to implement thread paging.

"WTF?? Nobody ever responds to any of my posts. All Weasel has to do is sneeze and people will reply!"

Good times!!!

Creation of OT? Bah.

Kev, weren't you behind the creation of the "appearance" forum or something too?

heh. Yep, that was me as well.

It's amazing how much this site has grown since then and nice to know there's still a large core of people still interested in being a part of the community.
