You can pick up an 03-04 for 26 g's with little miles on it.
Wow that sucks Adam! Kind of look at it as a blessing since it seems (I could be wrong though) that you were kind of over the whole J modding scene and didn't seem happy with your car. I'd say go with the SRT-4 for the logic reason that you and Britt are getting married soon and will probably have a family along the way, the 350Z might not be a good choice for the future. Good luck with whatever you decide to go with! We better still see you out at Broad or at meets though!
If you looking to sell the spoiler, I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands. I'm starting to semi-dislike my wing now and would like something smaller. Plus, David still needs a twin

how much for the outers?
whatever shipping would be. im not looking to make money off them. they'll be garbage if nobody wants them.
well suprisingley I have a 2003 cavalier and my friend has a 2004 srt-4 and we like to compete against each other. I am almost caught up to him in mods. He has a fully built motor and an upgrade turbo system from AGP. I have the same turbo setup up but have finished the internals on it and I have his same size turbo coming in shortly. and in a race at the track the two of them woulkd be a very close race. Now he is probaly putting close to 500 to the wheels and once everything is done I will be close to that mark. J's have lots of potentially just got to go the right route with them.
oh and besides he runs close to 30 psi i will run around 20 psi. and still make it close. Benifits of having a 2 door
^^^ i agree that cavs have potential.. but they need a lot of money and work to get there. and im not spending crazy amounts of money on modifications. i want a quick car from the factory. and another cavalier isnt going to cut it for me. my car ran a 15.8 with an exhaust and intake. i want a stock car that sees 14s.
That sucks about your cavalier.
You won't be dissappointed with the SRT though. We got one when my husband's 90 GST kept having problems. Plus we already had one kid, and our second one is due in 5 weeks, so we needed something with 4 doors. We got it for 18K, it's a 2004 but it only had 30 miles on it. I'd look for a 04 or 05 though if I were you, the 03's didn't come with LSD.
i hate to hear it about your car man, i loveddddddddd it
good luck with whatever your new poject brings
well i just got back from the body shop. its officially written off. too much damage to the unibody underneith the trunk and 1/4 panel... so its off to the dealerships i go to find the next Stealth...
adam did you get my message i sent to your inbox?
yeah i sent one back to you.
anyways peoples... im debating right now between an srt-4 and a GTI 1.8t... any opinions?
id go with the gti, but thats just me
My brother works for a Jeep dealership, I've been thinking about trading in my J for an ACR SRT-4.

RIP STEALTHCAV, clean car and will always be in my heart man, you showed us how to mod cleanly and tastefully a 3rdgen

Dude.... SS Cobalt. Super fun to drive and with minor tweaking can spank the crap out of almost any sport compact. Test drive one, you'll dig it.

that sucks to hear man , the ss/sc cobalts are very nice
personally i like them better than the neon/srt , ive never under stood the fact dodge builds them with manual crank wondows in the back ? lol
I want to say Cobalt SS/SC, but at the moment I'd say that the SRT-4 is the way to go.
The 2006 Cobalt SS's come with 2 engine options:
1. 2.0L S/C Eco @ 205 HP
2. 2.4L N/A Eco @ 175 HP
In a few years, I wouldn't be surprised to see the SS available with a 2.4L S/C Eco
option with 230-240 HP. At which point you'll be slapping yourself for getting the Early SS model.
Besides, I would never buy a car in the first year that it was produced.
I'd rather have a model that's at least in it's 3rd or 4th year of production. Usually the tweaks and refinements are well worth the wait.
Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.

GM is already working on the 2.4 eco s/c for a model of the solstice i guess. That's just what i heard from my boss who's buying a solstice. So maybe the SS will come with a 2.4 eco s/c in the future. Be nice to see.
