Once you start the GP, you'll find out if there's enough interest.

If it turns out that there isn't... well then you're out $10. Not a big deal for the company, right?

Is there anyone in PA that can go check out his shop and stuff?

Not trying to bust your balls, Kris, but we've got plenty of reason to be cautious around here. Apparently there are scammers on the Internet.

hey how is everyone i see that some are worried about us well im the owner iv been in the biz since 1996 iv grown from just selling car audio to selling just about anything i can think of in the 12 volt class and more. I provide complete info on anything you ask if i do not have it ill find it or kris will as you can see if you visit our new store at www.jlcaudio.net thats what im working on now so if you have any questions you can email me or kris but just give me a couple hours to respond but just to let you and everyone hear we do not rip people off we will try our best to get you the best deal possible even if it has to cost us money we dont care but if we dont have it in stock we dont have it in stock ill let you know when i will have it in stock i hope this helps out a little thanks for your time

Just for the record, that vote won't fly. Just start the GP with what you think people want.

These "interest" threads are just barely allowed. Once you start having people vote or start lists or something... well that's pretty much what the GP is.

Just go to it. I've run a few in the past. If the price is right, people will buy.

might think about your 1st gp being one heck of a deal to get your name out there and the trust factor built up. im sure youve seen some of the GP's gone under and people complaining. just some info to think about since you have seen alot of ones on this post ask about how/who yall are and such. screens should be a good one. KEEP IN MIND there are some guys who are all over the internet and see some deals that every now/then are cheaper then the GP. and they will let you know about it. hope to see one soon enough. just a couple things to think about that ive seen for the couple years ive been on the org!

good luck!

no offense, but I can't see where people will be beating down your door for $8-10 off retail. Anyone that pays retail for stuff is lazy. (sure, you buy stuff for retail at supermarkets and such, but even then, you can shop around).

If you want to draw interest, lower the price a little more, and raise the minimum. Or allow more discounts if X number of units are sold within Y time frame. I wouldn't even consider buying from an unknown entity for the chance I might save 10 whole bucks. I throw away $10 in vending machines in a week.

Just my thoughts. Use them, throw them away, it matters not to me.

Those prices are close to what the GP price would be but not to the penny, and yeah it will be controlled by the number of ppl we get interested but we can only lower so much, there is not a huge profit margin on these items, thats why there is not a huge discount but i know every little bit helps. I could have many ppl post about there dealings with us if youd like and several have already. I've been on the org for approc a year but i switched names so i dont have much of a history yet under this name.

still, without even questioning your reputation, I wouldn't buy from you because the discounts just aren't good enough.

I recently purchased the system for my xB, and "retail" at Crutchfield (within $20 of most place) was around $1800. I ended up spending $1150, so no one can tell me markup is low on electronics. A couple of the items were purchased on ebay, new with manufacturer warranty, but I'm pretty sure the seller didn't lose money on it, even though I saved about $300 on the ebay items alone.

Anyway, I'll get out of your thread, in case anyone is interested in your GP... I don't want it to seem like I'm pushing away potential buyers. Good luck. Take care.

see thats where ebay kills the smaller buisness man cause dealers on ebay order quanities like 20 as apposed to what they really need they might have 4 orders for one item yet they order 20 of said item. that meaning they get a better price for buying in quanity

exactly when you buy say 5 items u get a small discount but when u order 20 u get a much bigger discount and crutchfield is always high so comparing it to them just isnt that great cuz most companies can beat there prices
