Chris gladly accepted my payment for the upper dash part I wanted ordered.
He did say he'd send me the original but I haven't seen anything happening and I haven't seen any sort of product at my door.
I haven't gotten any sort of reimbursement either so I'm starting to get frustrated and worried about my cash. 145 bucks isn't pleasant to lose.

Don't worry I am scammed out of 540 dollars and I don't expect to see it back either. I can't even do a stop payment on my C.C. What really sucks is that I lost a sponsorship for a free paint job because of it. So in all I have lost about 3540 dollars. Also have a good day.

Dave (2 UNIQ): The hinges you got is the exact hinges you will get from Aplus or MMS. They broke, this isnt my fault and the procedure getting you a replacement set is same as it always has. It is rediculious but they are not my rules. Broken hinges must be returned and new hinges will be sent out.
Inari Fennec: I'll take care of you, I have the one original piece that I can send you. the only thing holding it up right now is I think I have someone that wants to buy it and the molds along with my widebody molds to resume production on these.. Heck if I could get somewhere to do it I would continue those myself.
13lucky13: When you ordered this I told you.. These have been on backorder forever. I told you that there was no set ETA on these kits. You agreed and wanted on the list. I have paid for your kit. I informed you it might take awhile and you agreed. Therefore when the kits come in you will recieve yours. If you have already sold your car I'm sorry but I gave reasonable warning in advance.
Method: Hey, sorry we had a bad deal. Considering it went along with the VERTICAL DOOR GP and basicly the whole reason the company is forsale due to debt and the fact you got your full amount refunded I really do not believe you got the bad end of anything, nor do i suck at business that bad. I guess you learn lesons, some are hard to swallow when they are 10k plus. If you have anything made inspect it before accepting delivery. That and @!#$ Dayton Import/ DIFAB.

P.S. The phone lines we had was VONAGE broadband phones. These phones are no longer in our posession. Evidently they give your number right away when one is disconected. I have had some emails about this so please do not call the number listed as you will not get me. Email or IM is the best way to get in contact.

when i first met you on here you seemed to be a pretty decent guy , always there to help out . however recently i have seen quite the decline in those helpful answers. and you have turned into a outright @!#$ !! i can honestly brag i have never done buisness with you , i am glad i havent after seeing some of your posts on here as of late. only thing that i feel bad about is sending you some buisness from friends i wish i sent them to aplus or mms. just from some of your comments on here i am glad i dont live near you in fear i would actually have to talk to you outside of the org. i try to surround myself with genuine and humble people which you are not. you got this image of yourselff and your buisness that you were not replaceable, well i guess we see you are !

Well since you emailed me on 6/9/05 saying we will get your kit in this week and now it is 9/10/05. I really don't think I can trust a damn thing you say. Cheap kits direct have them in so why are they so hard to get? If other companies have them I don't see why you don't.I even have moved since I ordered so I see no reason why there was no shipment for a body kit for 3 months when in the email I have said that you will get them in this week, and then magically you don't answer emails or anything. $540 is a lot of money to me to just disapper.

Customers always came first? I never bought from you but to me if the customers came first then they would have their products and money. If I was taken for money, id be pissed and do whatever it took to get my money back. Even if it meant court. People arent rich, some people put all they have into parts and even get screwed so they have nothing to show for the money. Im sorry but i am happy i did not get involved in buying from you and am glad that the store is closing so more do not lose money. Just seems to me like you owe a lot of people money. and if the USA was smart, they would make you pay them all back.

obviously no one here has a clue about why half these people are upset. I lost thousands of dollars on that vertical door GP and im sorry it may have taken a few months to pay everyone back. Winks is a small business and a hit that hard is hard to take and repay everyone the next day. I have repayed everyone tho and those that havent hold the @!#$ up. God damn, if I havent refunded you cances are im working on it and your either next or down the line.. Trust me if the business sells none of the money is actually going into my pocket.. but to fellow .org members. So if you guys could please stop complaining (esp those who have gotten refunds, and those who have no clue anything about the situation) I work 2 full time jobs pretty much and i'm doing any and everything i can to pay everyone on here trying to give me a bad name as a person back.

The funny thing is, that if all the people bitching you have their money wouldn't of been such dicks, you might of got more for the name etc and been able to pay them back quicker.

Bad idea, i had a talk with him and its not as bad as people make it out to be. He did get screwed and you can see he is sorry. but shoving it in some peoples faces is not going to be good for business. Its going to be hard to get on his feet again but it can be done. and being a dick about it wouldnt help.

I wrote the following in another thread that was hating. So I figured this would be a good place to post it also.
"I am by no means a MASTER of anything. I am a pretty well rounded person I think. If the certian few want to name call, and put me down then hey, I'm all for it. At times it gets frustrating because honestly the whole reason the business is closed and I'm in my mess is b/c of this reason. I'M A SUCKER FOR QUALITY. I spent 10k on a group purchase (which customers payed me 10k for). Ends up I get a BAD batch of hinges with the arm being bent a little to much. I could have sent all those out and said its your problem. I guess it's true what crystal said, I AM A BAD BUSINESS MAN. Anyother businessman (MUCH LIKE THE ONE THAT SOLD THEM TO ME) would have put them in boxes and sent them out to the customers faster than they could think about it. Then in the end tell the customer "well you agreed to this and this, you signed for it". Yeah I guess eating that 10k, buying 10k woth of more hinges (on credit) and refunding the ones that wanted a refund DOES make me a bad business man. I'm not like most businness men, I will go out of my way for my customers, only sell what I know, help 100% of the way through the install process, stand on my freakin head for you guys. I would never THINK about ripping you guys off and before I let that happen I would suck it up myself, go out of business, (non related but) loose my girl that I love, and start working 2 shifts one for 5.65 and the other for 7.10 an hour (I think I got a job lined up for 10.50 an hour so I can calm down), sell my car, air ride, vertical doors, close shop, become suicidal at times AND worst of all.. MOVE BACK HOME WITH THE PARENTS. Yea thats right it sucks. But sure. Go on and say I am a bad Business man. B/c I am. I got to big of a heart I guess, the business was built with a few goals, to help the jbody community, to be well known, and to make some money while im at it. I guess I did all of the above but in the end not alot of guys want to stand up for me and or give me the benifit of the doubt.
The way I see it is I could do one of a few things.
1. File bankruptcy and say eff you guys I owe NOTHING
2. say eff you guys and never post here again (anyone remember RICK)
3. do what I'm doing and do anything I can just so I can remain a respectable person among 10 thousand people. 10 thousand of those people in which I WILL never meet chances are. But do everything in my power to set things straight, pay people off as I can, and someday start another business and have you guys full support. (i dont know why I really care for it, push come to shove i'm a horrible criminal.)"
