the posts that still have images showing up are the ones that used the correct IMG tag code rather than the img src code. if you need to know how to post pictures using forum code, read this: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=47&i=4338&t=4338

why don't we just tell the man.

in order to make a sig with a picture, simply take the link and put xx.gif around it. xx.gif being the link.

I was confused too. everyone was like USE THE UB3R FOHRUM C0D3 AT T3h BOTTOM, when somebody could have simply said "HEY RETARD PUT [IMG][/IMG] AROUND THE LINK".

If you want to make a clickable picture, find out how because I have no clue, im not ub3r enough.

i gave him a link to the tutorial on how to post pictures in the forums using forum code. there's no clearer explanation on how to post pictures anywhere on this site.

as for how to make an image into a hyperlink, you use the [ URL=http://URL.com][ IMG]http://IMG-URL.jpg[/IMG][/URL] (obviously without the spaces).

then read what i wrote because i linked you to the picture posting tutorial for newbies. it explains how to post pictures without using the img src code.

Can you specify image size using forum code? When I used to use html, I would add "height=#" and "width=#" so that the pictures I would posted wouldn't be huge.

It helps with not having to delete the current image from the host (Photobucket in my case), resize it, and then re-upload it to the host.

That's a pain.

i'm not sure that VBScript (AKA Forum Code) has image size tags... I just checked my forums and vBulletin doesnt have it either... but that may be something to work in to it.... im all for it...

Actually, height and width is fully supported in MY version of bbcode!

[ img height=xx width=xx]http://path/to/image[ /img]

or you can only use height, or only width, or switch them, whatever you need.
