That seems to be the case here.
I work at a wheel company, we discontinue stuff all the time, there is no set procedure to notify anyone.

Same thing with us at LMC Truck, we get things dicontinued every day. It's tuff for us and we're a damn big company 150mil a year baby!! So I can imagine how tuff it sometimes can be with a small company.

Ok, we have 94 current styles of wheels in 5 lines and I would guess 2400 active wholesalers/retailers, 90% of which are not computer/internet savvy. Care to start calling?
Microsoft Access and Microsoft Word are wonderful tools....
Export data from the access database, do a mail-merge in microsoft word and you're done. Then send out the letter notifying the retailers of discontinued product(s).
A well trained monkey could do it in no more than half a day...
