Wow, how does one hit a curb and have the air bags deploy? Knowing what you do about the car I would check out the work that was done to it. If it looks good lowball them with the carfax report in hand and see if you can get a good deal on it. Just because a car was in an accident doesn't mean it's no good anymore.

Yeah, I was thinking about test driving it, just to see.
This dealer seems to have other cars like this too.
The other advantage I might have is that I know he has had it for quite a while.
I'm willing to bet that being the major reason.
If I could talk him into less than 3 grand, if the car is solid, then it might be a worthwhile
deal.
So if a few issues show up...they can be fixed easily..
That, and the services that I would have done (coolant flush, trans service, plugs
and wires). I don't like to play games..i would want it to last a while...
