I remember when Z24.com was up for sale for some rediculous amount of money. Sadly, now it's just some stupid squatter search site.

Then Ryan Sookraj started z24.com. Heres a name some of you REAL old skoolers may remember. "BowTiez24" and how bout ol' Dan Bettis. Remember this long running question. How do I remove my tuner tube? first bash was 99' Remember the 3 party rooms how bout some people changing oil and throwing it in the hotels dumpster Also Dan Bettis doing that CRAZY burnout in front of the hotel at the 99 bash. Also I remember at the 00' bash myself,Tim Schilling,VK,Erod,&Brad getting Teske drunk off his underage ass at that hole in the wall bar.LOL!!! Hey Erod U still remember the civic party car? Well I'm still here and yes I still have the Z.

good Lord talk about coming out of the wood works. I remember z24.com, Bowtie, Ryan etc... Bowtie had sold his car for a convertible mustang GT if i remember correctly. The phodia list was just nuts had about 50-100 email a day and more if there was a dispute. Just last year Dugas stopped the phobia list. There was email that just came out of no where and people were responding in shock that the list was still alive. Then Dugas shut down the list people were still asking how to unsubscribe from the list and Dugas responded look at the email you got when you signed up. All we need to see is Jim give us a post.

Remember when Jim Trevenos website was the most visited. it actually had the instructions on how to remove the tuner tube and where it was located. I removed mine. I swear i got a whopping 20 HP from that modification.

Remember when the Cavalier coupes had only outer clear tails available to them? - no one made inner clears. Everyone was like WTF? Why the hell do they only make the outers and not the inners?

Remember when every second J-body had hash marks on the front fenders?

That was one thing that was a;ways a guarantee with you, a new audio setup around once a year LOL. I remember the good ol days when we were talking about car shows and creating your own project regardless how people feel. Nice to see you stayed with it. Maybe one day I will see your car back in it show environment again. I guess I have to get out to some shows first, I have been thinking slamfest again, but thats still a little ways away.

I am sad to say this but I dont think we will be seeing Jim post here. I wont get into details but if you knew him you knew has constant battles with his health. He can barely go on too long shooting emails back and forth with me lately. But its nice to see someone appreciate his work, because he ended up like me and started getting pissed at where things were going and started making enemies. I will fwd this to him though, I am sure it will mean something to him.

Yeah, I think the last time Jim posted is when Higgins bought the Reaper from him. I am glad he turned around and brought it to the bash the following year

Karl sent me an email with this topic and I just had to come say hi to everyone. I hope your all doing fine with your j-body. The thing that pisses me off the most is the new cobolt. Everything we did for the j-body the damn GM has gone and used what we have done on our own and is making it so you can buy your car like that in the cobolt. They use to come look at my car all the time and tell me this and that and never did do a thing for the j-body. Yes, hate to pat my own back, but a lot of these places started making stuff for the j-body just cause of my car. Well John Higgins owns it now, well at last time I talked to him he still did. I was doing mods on it even before any place sold mods. The only mod out for the j-body was a header from RK Sport at the time and most the stuff on my car was made cause I asked the company to make it or I made it myself. It has come a long way sence those days. I was winning auto shows in the year 1998, 1999, and 2000 and that is when they really started doing a few things and I had my Z24 already modded out like crazy. There where a lot of people that would come to shows and always ask if it was a concept car, or some new import that just came out or silly questions like that and no one would guess it was a 1996 Z24.
Take care everyone and think you for the kind words. The last thing is I really miss my old site, it did have a lot of info on it before there where any other place to get info. That's what it was all about for me.

Wow that car!!! I remember it and rode in it. While Jamie owned it it never ran faster than a 17.1. Got beat by a all motor Z24. Jamie blew it up. Chassis Craft ended up with the car. With them it ran a 12.8@110mph. The car is still around in my area, but no longer turboed. If I have my way I will have it in my stable one day.

Jim good to see you posting!! I still have the Reaper!!!! Lots of plans for it as well.

I have no idea what you are referring to. But yeah, that was my first Bash and tons of good times. Kinda went something like:

Erod: Teske, drink this.
Teske: What is it?
Erod: SHUT UP! Drink it!
Teske: Um, okay. Smells like cough syrup.
Erod: We're all bigger than you, drink it.
Teske: You're not bigger than me.

*3 HOURS LATER*

Erod: Okay, youngin', time to go.
Teske: Yooureee gots meee a frienddd in thaaaa... whoa.... Tim is like.... tall. Can I hold yer pooket to *HICK-UP!* make shuuure I get to thhee car?
Erod/Tim/Jason/VK/Brad: Wow...

LOL. And great to see Jim on here to say hello. I still think its really cool that his car is still around and in Higgins' hands, someone who will put it to good use. And as for my hood, well, maybe up for sale in the future, ya never know.

You must have been drunk if you would think I would use a word like "youngin'".

I have all my teeth, never had a mullet, and have never owned a, oh, 1991 Mustang.
