New Z

Some call it an LS Sport. In canada its still a Z24. Dad was thinking about selling it, I told him ill buy it off of him so now i own a 2003 Z24 (LS Sport). Black, 5spd, 64000km (<40,000miles). Dad bought it back in 2006 with 30000km on it, so im the third owner. Its in great shape, just got new tires last fall, new brakes 2 days ago. Just needs some cosmetic work to the bumper, and the shift boot is a bit loose. All in all im pretty pumped.
Do have 2 quick questions, does a 88-94 cavalier strut tower brace fit on these cars? and does the cd player play mp3's?

haha ... "the mighty 2.2" don't tell me you're another "eco is the whore of all motors" type .... =P =P

the second gen strut brace will not fit... in fact 99 percent of second gen body/suspension parts will not fit on a third gen, and j bodies never came with an MP3 deck, your deck is only XM ready.

His J-body didn't, as MP3 wasn't an option in 03.... but the CD player that played burned MP3 discs WAS an option for the 04 and 05 model years. XM was optional 03-05.

ohhh ... i guess my 05 radio didnt come with that option then...

Part of the "Sun and Sound" package with the 04-05 sunfires. It came with mine when I got it in '04, basically added the moonroof, MP3 deck and Sat/XM radio ready. Next level included the Monsoon system.

They would work with my factory radio. I just burnt a CD and stuck it in. I have an 03 LSS

So you can burn MP3s as files (not as tracks) and it works? MP3 Cds hold on average about 100 - 300 songs depending on file size

that's different. As stated above, you are burning them as audio tracks, not mp3 files. It will read a burnt cd, NOT an mp3 cd.

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Come visit BC J-body: www.bcjbody.org

You'd have to take the passenger side fog light out and see why it's loose. Maybe it's broken or off the adjuster piece...

first thing i would do is window tint, and lower.
then 8000k HIDs in the headlights, and 3000k in the fogs
then intake/full exhaust. then full sound system.
then supercharge it

beautiful car tho man!
