im not going to lie there are a few things on that car that i wouldn't mind having.. Brake setup both front and rear..

if he has 68k into that, then i have around 100k into mine, granted his in canada, but still. that could not have appraised for 68k for one most modifications on our cars don't increase the apprasial value. i like how he listed allot of stuff in his add twice making his list of modifications seem allot longer, and adding gullwing doors when there not. if he is selling that car for 37k i guess i need to list mine for 52k instead of the 13k id be happy with.

Re: wow

lol @37k.

This car is 8 grand material tops.
Re: wow
Friday, July 09, 2010 12:00 PM
I wonder how much it weighs. I bet its brutally slow and underpowered. I could think of better cars to spend $37,000 on.

Re: wow

I was just thinking, since short ram intakes can pass for "cold air intakes", maybe I can rattle can my valve cover. put wilwoods on the front, make my dash so shiny that it'll be impossible to drive on sunny days and keep my rims that sort of look like those, maybe I can sell my car for $37k?

Lots of high priced equipment doesnt make your car in the same range as a fully loaded Mercedes C class... Not in the mood to check actual MSRPs but you get what I mean.

This guy must be selling this car to support his crack habit, because thats what he must be on if he thinks he can get that price for that car. Appraised at $68k? I bet he's using the the cost table that consists of, "well I paid $2000 for the car, put $66k worth of mods on it (highly doubtful) so it should be worth $68,0000!"

I can think of 100s of cars I would buy with $37k before someones hooked up sunflower

Re: wow

In this picture it doesn't look too bad:

But... all the other pictures just make it look completely overdone and ridiculous. I really can't get over the "front splitter". It looks like he strapped a @!#$ guillotine to his front bumper! I would not want to get rear ended by this Sunfire!

Definitely not worth anywhere near $38,000. Not even worth $10,000 in my opinion.

I love how he totally badgered the names of all the products & modifications that are on the car i.e.:
- "gull wing doors" (uh... how about no!)
- "rear fin" (where's the fish!?!)
- "ram hood scoop" (too bad it's a hood, not just a scoop)
- "front & rear bumbers" (commonly known as front & rear bumpers)
- "pully" (commonly known as pulley)
- "polyurethane engine mount bushings and exhaust" (so, the exhaust is polyurethane too!?!)
- "new floor carpet" (thank goodness he pointed out that the carpet goes on the floor!)
- "checker plate floor mats" (commonly known as diamond plate floor mats)
- "updated coil over springs" (the old version wasn't good enough, so he got the "updated" version)
- "improved struts" (again, the old ones just weren't good enough, so he got "improved" ones)
- "pully" (again!)
- "catalytic convertor" (commonly known as catalytic converter)
- "Fallkin tires" (commonly known as Falken tires)
- "New Red optima battery" (commonly known as Optima Red Top battery)
- "R & K Sport ram air hood' (commonly known as RK Sport ram air hood)
- "R & K Sport rear fin" (so, it's a fish, not a Sunfire!?!)
- "Billet aluminum geartshift knob" (commonly known as a shift knob)
- "6 point stainless steel floor mat" (6 point? it only comes with one floor mat!?!)
- "Undercarriage" (commonly known as suspension)
- "Eiback coil over springs" (commonly known as Eibach lowering springs)
- "eiback rear sway bar" (again, commonly known as Eibach rear sway bar)
- "eiback front sway bar" (REALLY!?!)

And, as previously stated, he did list many products/modifications multiple times and a few times even referred to them differently even though they're the same thing.

All I have to say is... I agree with everyone who said he's on crack! LMAO!

Really? did it have 14k gold foot pedals and diamond-encrusted HVAC knobs?

Haha really though, I'd like to see the J someone actually paid $60k for, because lets face it; nobody is going to pay $37,000 for a car that might be worth $15k, and thats being very generous. I think he'd have a better time selling it if it wasnt that ugly shade of purple and that horrible front end just didnt exist.
