selling an unassembled conversion?
Friday, March 08, 2013 12:33 PM
I have a 2002 sunfire that I was planning to drop a 3800 into. Now I came across a 2003 buick century with a 3100.
I would like to drop the 3800 into the century and throw the 3100 in the sunfire.

I am trying to decide if I should finish putting the 3100 in the sunfire or just sell the sunfire along with the 3100 and save myself the time.
How much of a sale difference would there be by doing one or the other?

Sounds like you need to sit down and think about what you want in the end.

The buick is in sorry shape since the previous owner beat on it. The body is going and the front sway bar is broken.
Not sure how she drove it, but when it goes, the motor and tranny will be the only parts to be saved.
The 3800/4t60 is going in the sunfire and that one should last a long time since it is a clean car.
