I'm still around since 2004, mostly a lurker, but I have been here and there. Still have my 04 Cavalier base 5spd but it doesn't get driven too much now with having my family.. So my mileage is going nowhere fast. Currently at 23k original. Very lightly modded, K&N Typhoon intake, 1999 Z Vert strut tower brace [4 point], 1999 Z 5 spoke wheels, relocated ECU inside, Toyo trunk lid liner. And then ran out of steam and money when my wife was going to have twins and ended up losing one before birth. So now she's just a to-and-from work vehicle. If anyone has a Colorado / Canyon / I-Series truck they'd like to trade me, please let me know. I'm not holding my breath though, lol!

My "family" car is a 2008 Scion xB.

It's good from far but far from good. Previous owners were hell on this poor car's paint. There are poorly executed touch ups all over it. When I got it there was a mouse nest in the HVAC system and many many chewed wires. After about 2 weeks with a rental car it was all repaired. Thank God for insurance. So far with this car I've just tossed in an ebay short ram intake, K&N Air filter, and some proper sized tires because the old ones were less than 4/32" and still rubbed every time I hit a bump or a dip in the road. It's not a bad DD, but it certainly doesn't fill the place of the truck that'd been traded to get it. I still hate myself for that trade [07 GMC Canyon Crew cab].

Man so sorry to hear about the baby . . . hopefully the surviving twin is happy and healthy.

The links to the pics don't work - looks like they are on a secure page.

23k on a 2004 is super low miles!!

p.s. - fixed the pics for you below - just remove the 's' from the https:// so that it's http://

Like I said in other old guy post...joined jbo in 2001 but started modding my 1996 sunfire within a few months... was subscribing to sport compact car magazine and saw an ad for RK Sport...was blown away, did not know they made parts for these @!#$boxes...bought first set of eibach springs, old hellwaig rear sway bar.. the ond koni reds that had to be hand built..lmfao...then I played with the ecotec...2003 sunfire... that engine was great, never had a problem with it, drove the @!#$ out of it..all I did was run full synthetic after engine break in and never looked back. Now I have a 2013 Ford focus hatch...fully loaded...nice daily driver and huge aftermarket for this MK3 gen, and its only been around since 2012

Don't buy from MANTAPART!!
There is no easy ways to get HP, no magic box or gizmo... And if you get more hp, there's no way to make your car still behave and sound like a stock one. More hp usually makes your car louder, more vibrations and harder to drive...but still people hope or think maby there's some magic way to have it all, comfort, stock sound and drive.

hahaha, i have no idea what brought me back here tonight. but just thought i'd drop a "yo" to show I'm still alive. Good to see the JBO still kicking....even though it's really stripped back from what it was. The Cobalt in my sig was wrecked by drunk drivers, I'm now rebuilding a 1991 300zx TT, and THAT is a fricken never ending job.

I check back in every once in a while to see if anything has changed. Been a member since 04. Cannot believe its been that long! I haven't had a Domestic car since 07? I think. Man its been a long time. The Euro scene is cool, but I do miss the good ol' Jbody/ gm small car bashes with Matt Hazzard (rodimus prime) humping everything in sight hahaha.

"Boost tuning"....... have you had your 8 PSI today?

Still here. And soon to be back in a J (2004 LS Sport). First one since my Sunbird (which I still have, just sitting around).

If you knew evilmonkitar (Brett), this is his old car, now supercharger-less, lol. That engine will be going into a Fiero someday, so I put a 'new' engine into the car.

Been here since 06. Forgot my old user name so hag top make another. Still own the same car since 05. Moved to the south 3 years ago. Drove it for a year here then bought a new truck. Threw it up in the air today to find out its a complete loss. The northern climate "salt" completely rusted her out. So if anyone had a rolling chassis. Z24 preferred let me know. It's a day

Joined back in 2002, was a premium member for a few years. Although this is my first time on the site in over a year I check in here and there.

Still have my 1st car, and 1st J-body. A 97 2.2 5spd that my Fiancé still drives back and forth to work. Car is getting rusty but still runs as solid as ever. See the attached picture, she rolled 200,000 on Christmas morning!.

After a very long absence I stumbled back in here and thought I'd see if I recognize any usernames. There's not many I recognize, but there are some. It's nice to see this site still up and running. Brings back memories for sure.

It's been a while for me. Sold the 02 LS and went without a car for a number of years while living in LA.

A 98 sedan has fallen into my lap after swearing off Cavaliers.

Making a comeback... 17 years later.

I got into corvettes, owned a few. Now have a 2014 Z51. But due to a crashing oil market, life has to change drastically and quickly.

Looking at an 88 Z24 in Vegas. Not many 2nd gen phase 1 cars out there for sale. Some are selling for as much as they did new in 1988!!

Hoping to get back into a Z24 soon!

Don't know who all is still around or whatnot, but hey all ... VERY long time no see! No longer have the Cavalier of course, and been through a Cobalt SS (which I friggin loved, but hubby thought I needed a more adult vehicle lol), an 09 Corvette (which I BEYOND loved but had to trade in at the time), just had a 2015 GTI (hated though still a nice car I dont like imports dammit) ... and currently in a 2013 Cadillac ATS Premium (3.6L awd). Can't deny I truly miss the old Cavalier convertible I had. Good times my friends Hope everyone is well!
