Alexandra Alexsevich is a scammer
Thursday, March 17, 2005 4:46 PM
Back in September 2003, i contacted Alex Alexsevich in regards to an ad she had posted in the classifieds here for her stock 2000 sunfire rear bumper. after several e-mails back and forth, i sent a money order for the amount of $95 to her.

she claims to have never gotten it. i had the post office pull up their records and found out that the money order had been cashed and signed by her. however, at this point, she wouldn't contact me again.

a short time later, i confronted her in the exterior forum about the ordeal. here is the conversation that followed: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=7&i=205834&t=205811&arch=1

she sent me two private messages, one of which said that she would get me the money as soon as she could. that was just over a year ago. still no money.

her account was deleted shortly thereafter.

however, i was looking through a website of a trusted friend and came across her name. i contacted my friend to get the e-mail address that was used. he told me that the address was jbod4ever@aol.com. that threw a couple caution flags in my head, since i recalled seeing that address recently on here. after doing a little bit more research, i came across this account: http://www.j-body.org/members/lakerslover.

the location is the same (area code 218, which is Duluth) as the location on her old cardomain page: http://www.cardomain.com/id/midwestjfactor, and new cardomain page: http://www.cardomain.com/id/wisconsonjbod... notice both are 2000 pontiac sunfires, both silver. the car has been modded more, but it's the same one. the name on the new cardomain page also says "Alex". do i need more proof? cause i got it. i could go all day...

so here's the deal Alex. since you've scammed me before and have refused to pay me back, i will contact all j-body parts suppliers and ask them to not do business with you until you make things right between the two of us. once you pay me back my $95, then i'll delete this thread, contact all the j-body parts suppliers and tell them that you are fine to do business with again. i know $95 isn't much to complain about, but it's enough for me to do so. so, until you pay me back, i will just keep this "grudge" if you wanna call it that alive.

shouldnt this be taken as a private matter then? and how come you deleted rat's post? why is it ok for others to post in thread that are like this where the poster asks for posts only by the parties in question? isn't it kind of abuse of power to delete other peoples posts on a public forum?

You Nazi. Your already using your new found abilities to further your own agenda. You posted on a public forum and now your asking people not to post in it??? Go ahead and delete this post. You better believe dave will get an earfull.

And i'm not saying this because i'm part of a "clique". What you just did is complete abuse of power.

Re: Alexandra Alexsevich is a scammer

because i don't want this thread to be full of other people's bullsh*t. that's why. i want this matter resolved, i do not want people who are not involved to be cluttering this up.

as far as the matter of resolving this privately, i already @!#$ tried that. several times. IT DIDN'T @!#$ WORK! that is why i am posting this. i asked Dave permission to post this, and he agreed.

and i deleted Rat's post because it was in violation of the postjacking rules. end of story.

Agreed, seeing how my post was deleted wishing you luck and saying any money scammed is worth complaining about.

I pay to post on this site, and did not jack one thing buddy, so @!#$ you. If you don't want replies, lock this @!#$.

Joe, i appologize about that.

i will not delete any posts in this thread or use any mod powers to keep this thread going according to any agenda. if any other moderator decides that something needs to be done, then by all means, they have that right.

Alex, pay the man back. Come on, the money's not yours, pay it back, and people will forget and you can get on with your life. A year and a half's a long time to have someone waiting for the money. C'mon, don't be a loser, just pay Cannon back - you got caught on your scam. "If you do the crime, prepare to do the time." So you got caught, oh well, you shouldn't have done it in the first place, you knew it might happen. So you got a loan of $95 for a year and a half, and now just give the man his dough - what did he ever do to you to deserve this and how would you feel if someone bilked you out of $95?

Enough's enough. Grow up, and start being honest. You'll get further that way.

There have been quite a few posts on people getting scammed. There's generally three things we can do with them.

If they're legitimate and appear to be serving an ongoing purpose, either to further investigate the scam or to attempt to resolve it, we generally leave them open and active.

If they're legitimate but the thread appears to be of no further use, we'll lock them so that others can find the information if they search for it.

If they appear to be frivolous or otherwise inappropriate, they'll often be locked or deleted entirely. This also goes for people talking about scams that have been widely perpetrated and are easily found in searches, such as the "I'll send you a cheque for double what you're asking and you send me change" scams, among others.

Now, as for Cannon's situation specifically, we pretty much all agree that he went about this thread all the wrong way and he knows that as well. He's apologized above and I hope all the members accept that. As a new moderator, he's still growing accustomed to the do's and don't's of moderating and as with all of us, it is a trial by fire. While there's nothing wrong with him starting this thread in itself, he should not have been using his moderator abilities to "manage" it or to offer to later remove it. That's not what we do and he realizes the error in it.

I sincerely ask that all of you cut him a little slack on this one and help him along. If we didnt think he was a good guy and could handle the responsibility then he would not have been made a moderator.

Being a moderator is mostly a thankless job and generally while the good we do gets ignored, it's the few missteps we take that end up being huge news around here. So throw the guy a bone. He's a member first and foremost and deserves your help!

you live in the same state i think. go to her house and just your money or bumper back. just rip the bumper off the car and walk away. if she refuses to give you your @!#$, blow her windows in and call it a day, then she'll be forking out a couple hundred.

my next step will probably involve a visit with her local police department.

you have no idea how sick i am of this situation...

and thanks WW... i was quite a bit pissed off when i found out she was still on the .org posting under a different name to begin with, and with ratzero's post, that just kinda pushed me over the top. i already appologized to Joe, and as far as Jonathan, well... i don't really care what you think of me, if that's the opinion you have, so be it. im not using my mod powers to further this "agenda" if you will, i just wanted a clean thread without all the bs that i've seen in so many other threads. i'll have three pages of comments saying "give the guy his money back" and then nothing will get resolved due to it. however, some people thought that my methods were wrong... i don't really care. if you are pissed off that im trying to get my money back, then you got issues. if you are pissed that i was trying to use my mod powers to keep this thread clean and organized, then you need to get out more often.

Holy crap dudes......seriously too much drama.

Cannon: I somewhat agree with you. I'd be pissed as well over any amount of money. Not really for the simple fact that it was only $95.00, but for the fact that the individual is trying to avoid you and take you for a fool.

And I must say..........VERY NICE job on the research. Kudo points for you. I wish everyone would do as much research as you before posting these kinds of topics.

Anyways, sucks you got reamed for this post, but the end of it did seem a bit extreme, lol. I'm waiting to kick your ass in Yahoo! pool again!
