ok, my e-mail address is hidden in my profile to stop people from "harvesting" it from on-line. It seems that when you set j-body.org to e-mail you when someone replies to a thread, it send an e-mail message from j-body.org with your e-mail as the "From" and "Reply-to" this is a copy (modified of course) of the header of the e-mail

other than using a fake address to register, any way to prevent this? Other wise someone who wants to spam can just watch a lot of threads and gather e-mails

My e-mail address isn't hidden and I don't receive any SPAM.
You need to just relax.
i actually receive stuff all the time
the only thing i receive though is a long message saying my message could not be delivered
it happens when someone with an unworking email adress clicks the "email me replies"
You raise an interesting point. I will add this to the to-do list, if the author's email is anonymous, the system should send the email semi-anonymously (from an email like forum@j-body or something), with a link back to the site if the recipient wants to contact the author directly.
