Clearly, any engine can fit in any car with modification and tools.
I had a 90 S10 Cameo, lowered, 4.3L that somebody set on fire.
I have a 6.0 I planned to drop in it and now I don't have the vehicle.
So... Other than a tube chassis, what's the simplest way to squeeze
my small block 396ci into a jbody?
Please be realistic. I'd like to work a T6 trans into it as well.

I honestly can't see any info being terribly j-body related here. If you're going to take a FWD platform and turn it into a V8 RWD monster, the doner vehicle is probably irrelevant. If you've got the skills or money to make this happen, it likely doesn't matter whether it's a j-body or a Neon or a Kia Rio.
But DEFINITELY post pics and what not as you go along!! There's a guy in the 1st gen forum doing something similar.
