Battle of the Imports at Route 66- Joliet IL
Sunday, June 05, 2005 7:39 PM
I didn't get a chance to take a whole lot of pics, actually I had the chance but was just plain lazy so I took a few of a couple cars that really stood out and caught my eye

a boner on wheels...

not sure if I like this Supra but nice none the less

Queen Z - I have to say most cars look better in pics then they do in person because pics hide very minor flaws... her car is absolutely flawless its just incredible, to all you haters wait till you see it in person its gorgeous

Nice celica that took Best of show over Queen Z which was BS, the car is awsome but if you actually compare the to the lack of attention to detail and little minor flaws are there (major lack of detail is like 5-6 inches of ground clearance ), I think it won best of show cause it has to many TV's

My P.O.S.

I think they are just custom built enclosures he/she made and just set them there in the front just for show....I dont like the color...but overall....its definetly original....

There were some really nice cars at the show. Some of the civics were pretty crazy with their motor swaps turboed and spraying....i was like wow this thing is literally a go cart...haha. That skyline is really a nice car. Put together just the right way to make it look clean yet not overdone. Now my cavalier is back into the shop getting ready for Hot Import Nights.....woh hoo, i can't wait for it.

Congrets darkstar on the 2ed place and thanks for the pics!

i had the weapon R but that doesn't clear this hood, so I went back to the stock TB piece and just put a filter on it, I've tried 2-3 other brands and the only one that fit was RKSport.... and I REFUSE to buy anything from them, so find me an intake that will fit and I'll get it till then I'll stick to my ghetto intake

I thought you won first place in Women' s rides or something like that. Nothing to be ashmed of there. I was however surprised they didn't put you in the cavalier catagory like me and darkstar. well there is alwasy Hot Import Nights which i honestly can't wait for....Hopefully my interior will be done by then (crosses fingers)

but you got a nice ride there Ashley.....Definatly something to be proud of!

in case anyone was curious. This was a pic of my cavalier in the show.....I had a few of the guys bring my car to the show because i had to work...I arrived later on though....after the trohies were over and everyone was pullin out
