for allot of shows there really is no golden line of whats mild or wild. some cars may be placed in mild one show and wild the next. generally wild gets into moulding bodky kits, shaving parts, air ride complete paintjobs.

If you have interior, body kit hood and lambo's, were are more than likely going into wild. I brought the same question up to tim and I don't agree with it but that is there guidelines. You would think molded body kits etc. I'm there to have fun and any reconition is cool!

I tried to look and they use to, I belive, have it listed but it is gone now. I would like to see a list of guidelines so that people don't feel that they weren't in the right class. I know last year a bunch of people had that problem and felt cheated. I think that a list would help clear up the confusion.

Ya its kinda a double edge sword, cause ppl with kits and stuff like that feel that those with lambos or air etc are tough competition for them, and the same with getting bumped to classes with new paint/molded things etc, tough call, but either way, im trying so hard to be able to go.

I have body kit, CF hood with molded eyelids, lambos, bolt on performance mods, full alpine Type R/V12 audio and video, PS2, racing seats, 18's, full suspension (coil overs) CF tail light filler, CF front emblem, all the badging and emblems removed ect.. and I have NEVER been placed in the Wild catagory, at every show I've been to I've been considered mild

well every show is differant but usally when you have either or all, airride, lamdos, and body mods such as anything shaved or molded your considered wild.thats what is considered wild at all the shows that ive been to.(mostly va,nc).however "shaving"anything that is stuck on by tape or glue such as moldings and emblems arent considered as a "shaved"body mod.shaved body mods would be something like door handles, gas door, antena, etc.body kits are considered bolt items unless you have something molded.as far as paint goes i have never heard of anyone getting put into wild class because of there paint.again all this depends on who is promoting the show.my suggestion to to you is find a couple of car/truck clubs(good ones) in your area and ask them about the shows they have attended in the past.most good clubs will be very helpful.good luck

Well HIN says that you have to have two major body mods like widebody and shaved and custom paint. It use to be body kits and rims but now almost everyone has them so you are suppose to have major body mods and then you have to win two wilds to become elite.

This is true for alot of the smaller local shows. However for the bigger shows they usually go by the NCCA rules. I asked the judge at Hot Import Nights what determines classes....cause i was really curious..........and he said there's a NCCA rule book.

He said the biggest thing they look for which decides mild/wild is 2 shavings/moldings....Shaved handles, Shaved tails, molded sides, molded eyelids......Any of these 2 would put you into wild.

They mentions Air ride and custom paint isn't a deciding factor.

Hope this clears it up.

i wouldnt consider the bash to be a bigger show. 300 or so cars to me is a smaller show and with that comes an adjusted guideline of whats mild versus wild. sounds like i'll be in wild this year.

These all make sence, altho I think lambos, are becomming more common and can see them removing them from wild cause they are bolt on, if you know how to use a wrench you can do it pretyt much.

I could also see an extreme paint job being considered wild by judges, but it shouldntbe any diff than just painting a kit, unless its airbrushed maybe

by paintjob its usually when a color change occurs or when your talking graphics with say 4-5 colors or things like that. i think your car would be mild in most shows, but at the bash i think you may get shifted into wild. dont feel bad i'll most likely get put int wild as well.
