Last I recall, Buschur didnt let me run a Cavalier at the shootout. No reason the EVO's need to run at the GM show. EVO's have 2 shows at Norwalk.
Same thing comes up every year. I think if we start letting just everything come in, that kinda takes away from the whole idea of a "GM Tuner Bash". Not hating on EVO's (cuz if i had about 30 grand more, I'd have me one too) or whatever else.... but it'll be nice to keep it as a GM show.
Were running anything and everything...run what ya brung. I plan on taking the jeep and the bike if i bring that down the track...

if an org member would be from the org, I got no beef with them bringing their evo. But if they're just comin to get some track time....why not go to the normal test n tune? For example....cheeter bought a GTO...he's in without a doubt cuz he's a familiar face to some of us. But if he wanted to bring 5 other GTO friends I might frown on that. GTO guys have Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk...this is all we got. I'm open to things like grand prix's grand am's berettas and such. Does that make sense? Like I'm not gonna be a dick and say no at the gate, if they wanna pay the race fee, they can race cuz they're helping the track....but LSX guys don't belong at a "tuner" bash. They're more of a muscle car....and EVO's aren't exactly GM....they got the DSM shootouts up at norwalk
Why would you frown on Cheeter bringing 5 GTO's friends? Last I checked its the GM tuner bash and they are GM cars.

Thats how I feel. Im sorry but thats what I thought we were talking about, org members should be able to run what ya brung. But outsiders...no. And definitely not for awards. I was thinking more for fun since obviously my bike is going to rape you...i wouldn't want to take a trophy home..
thats pretty well it...if you're org affiliated...run whatever. Just don't go invitin a bunch of non GM people. because I'm not going to be able to sit at the gate and ask who is an org member, who's from clubgp and all that jazz...once the event is going, its pretty well just going to be everyone payin track admission and goin on in to get checked in and inspected (which won't be horribly restrictive)
