haha its a big step up from Dragway 42 (most un-safe dragway in North America FYI) Norwalk is an amazing facility and would be hella awesome to have the bash there, I've never been to the other place but where the Bash goes I will follow
---
sadly it was 400 more then dragway 42 from sounds of things. However, they haven't made the schedule yet, so we don't have it yet, but they're supposed to call me when they make the schedule sometime in january
I didn't go last year but hopefully the Vert. will be in better shape to make it this year.Looking forward to it,Ohio is not that far from good ol' Mi.,lol

Paul...I take it that you are waiting on dates for the track in Jan 08 to set the actual date for the Bash?
Seems I remember you said you were waiting and couldn't set a true date before then...pending track info.
Just trying to see so I can hopefully make it this year.
Returning from Germany and trying to ship a car and all, move the family and get our stuff packed and return with flights, pick the car up and etc, etc....timing is everything!!
Maybe I'll win the the "how far did you come for the Bash Award" this year!! LOL!
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
Norwalk hasn't made their schedule yet, so I won't announce dates till my time slot is officially held
so are we officially having the bash at norwalk once they announce the schedule? or are you waiting for them to announce so you can decide if we are going to norwalk?
---
prices would have to drastically change from last year for us not to go to norwalk. Just waiting on norwalk's scheduling to know for sure if we're going to get our date
You know Paul, i never understood how hard it was to find a track untill i started looking at tracks down south where im moving. I just happened to catch the price for private rentals. Atlantas track is 1500 min. That includes 5 cars...then 300 per car after that
ok cool, id love to have it at norwalk. gives me a good reason to stay at the hotel lol. last year the track was 15 min from my house, this year its almost 40min. Where do i sign up for the beerpong tournament? lol
---
on a side note, i dont know if you have been there since then, but last year norwalk paved their entire pit area so its one giant slab of asphalt now. more than enough room to set up, say... an autox course? but I dont know if your still trying to work that out, or hell if they would even let you do it
sorry for double post, accidentally hit Enter

I'll toss up the idea if nothing else.
