that was a good time. lots of random people working all night to get him up and running. good stuffs.

it was also good to see no one breaking down like has happened at every other bash. especially not me like i did in 02

well wade and i had a little scare a mere freakiing block away from the hotel. his battery light came on and the car felt like ass while driving. we roll up in the parking lot and have to pop the hood right away and see wtf happened and didnt even get to meet people right off the bat. looked under and the serp. belt was completely shredded and f'd UP. but that wasnt the only thing we noticed..

the freaking supercharger pulley was flopping in the wind and only two of the (5 i think?) were left holding it on. 2 of the screws had completely sheered off and threads were sill inside the hub. this is what caused the serp. belt to take an early dirt nap.

i would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people for their absolutely AMAZING effort of helping out and getting wade's car back up to snuff....

most goes out to scott (raginZ) and chris (sweetnessGT), you boys are awesome. you did not hesitate to get right in there and throw your helping hands and knowledge down. matt (rodimus), thanks for the use of the tools you provided and thanks to anyone else who helped out as im sure im forgetting some.

Anything of that caliber go on this year? Parking lot head gasket? Midnight tranny swap (Laverty)?

I changed the 3400's alternator. Took me all of about 10-15 minutes to do. Nothing real spectacular going on.

Someone that got there did lose a pulley a belt or something. I think they ended up leaving, not real sure who it was though. I'm sure someone else knows the full story.
