If possible private rental is the way to go. I'm in for the pre-pay!

Will there still be time for "$#!*s and grins" passes?

I'm nowhere near competitive but wondering how many times us slowbe's can run.

if we have a private rental....as many as we can fit into a 4 hour window...(which is a LOT)

This was not a private rental but this is my most runs in one day to date

Yes you counted correct 20 is the magic number, so yes ALOT of runs can be done with a private rental

see ya soon

If we rent the track there will for sure be enough time for us all to as many as we want and still have a competition such as the quick 8.

If we don't rent one we get luck of the draw. There is no telling how many passes you might get since it all depends on how many other people show up and if they already have some other type of event/competition ect. It could be a real gamble without renting the track.

i beg to differ. i have 32 time slips from the same middle of the summer friday bizy as hell night .

a track rental is a very good idea IMO. much more organizable.

i bet you could come to 50 test and tunes in a row or spread out through the year and get a max of 5-10 TOPS trips down the track. from slow cars, to breaks to track prep. there is a lot of down time and special runs to take into effect. we wont have to deal with that, its going to go so much faster privately.

the track i race at on Test and tune days its not uncommon to get 20 plus time slips in a 4 hour period. one year this dude got in over 30 in 4 hours of cours he was hot lapping most of the time

Surely between us and CSS.net we can do it!

I'll prepay as well for the cause. I wont race but it will make being a spectator a lot more interesting as well with just line ups to watch

paul: you should just open up the paypal and registration. since you plan on refunding if you dont get enough, you might as well just let people start signing up and sending in $. having the $ sitting there is a much, much better way to see how many people will pre-reg than having people post on here.

btw...im going to help eric with the shirts....and you cant stop me!

If you are going to do private track rental why not do the TVR/Eco vs. Quad cam/fastest J/Fastest GM Sportcompact all at the Bash???

I agree here, would definitely sweeten the deal for both parties IMO.

This happens and I too will pre-pay.

i'll register and prepay--- and chances are, i may not even have the 87 running by then.... but i'll pay regardless because I'm in it to make sure the bash stays alive and grows.

dont quote me or anything but it would likely be we would have the place to ourselves for the first 4 hours and then after that the track would still be open, but it would be opened up for any other cars to come in and run.
