Phil, the guy at the hotel is under the assumption that everybody is coming on the 18th, which is a Thursday. I told him some may come that early, but not all of us. Ill be coming Friday and staying Until Sunday morning. As im sure most of us will come and leave then.

I priced the Holiday Inn across the Highway and it was unfortunately higher by about 20 dollars, the Quality Inn was lower than the Comfort Inn, and has a bar on site.
I just called and reserved my room, I got a NON-Smoking single bed under the rate. She told me that there are plenty of rooms left but just certain ones under our special rate block ( regular price is $94.99). She told me that we only had 11 rooms resevered so far in our block and plenty left.

Hello from the Gulf of Aden, (on our way home to Norfolk, VA)
I have been off the boards since I left in August, but since we are now heading home I am looking at things to do for a mini vacation, and I am thinking about going to the Bash this year. its only 10 Hrs from VA beach.
Couple of questions, is the hotel full, and if so is there another close by. I have limited internet here on the ship and not able to fully look. I have time when i get home to make the reservations, and if i really need to my wife is at home and she can make the reservations as well.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you and getting great ideas for my Red Rocket!
