ORP is in Indy, would definately add hours to your drive... Nice dragstrip
didnt we us dragway 42 before? wasnt that the really @!#$ty track? the one that had a ramp at the 80' mark? where andy had his little trans mishap?
If you want to stay in that area, take a look at this track, Quaker City Dragway
http://www.quakercityraceway.com/ It was just redone 2 years ago and it's just outside the Youngstown/Boardman area, offers great hotel options, close to the Lordstown plant, and even offers a less than 30 minute drive to Summit Racing.

Wasn't Quaker the track we tried to get one year but couldn't don't remember off the top of my head. I think we did thompson is 02 was to great then i'm sure they redid it by now

i liked thompson in '04
if its at 42, i won't be attending. that track, while the personnel were nice, sucked.
what about Norwalk?
norwalk is a bad idea. CRAZY busy, we won't get enough runs.
quaker city, and thompson are the 2 best candidates IMO. Neat thing about thompson is the overhead bridge, neat filming point
in that case, I vote thompson
unless you guys feel like rocking the coast and doing atco or e-town
Please do Thompson. It is my local track. They have redone the burnout box, repaved the track, and now have new timing lights and signs.
There are a few new hotels here as well. Paul I also know the manager of the new quaker steak & Lube here in Mentor. Cough LOL
Also RDP and Hutter Racing has been trying to set up some dyno days. Hutter would be a better choice in my opinion. Also Best of Show just opened up in mentor, and Anabells is also open.
