? about Inside Car shows

This is my first "inside car show", and I have an indash dvd player and sunvisor monitors. My question is, how many of you that have tv's hook them up at these shows? Is it worth it to spend the money on power to show off my monitors? Does that make a difference in judging? any input would be cool. thanks!

To run just that, it's usually not worth it......Unless you have a display that you plan on doing, then it's worth it. Plus, power at the indoor events could cost upwards of $100 for the day..........

just turn them on when the judges come around. i know my tvs i can have the key in the on position and leave the tvs on for like half hour and still be able to start the car

Don't forget......The battery(ies) need to be disconnected.........The only way to really run them is to have a power feed. I've actually seen judges bust balls for not having the battery disconnected........

yep fire laws for shows indoors, the battery must be disconnected and most wont let you in unless you have a 1/4 tank of gas or less. just for a pair of tv's i wouldnt bother, if you have allot of lighting to go along with it, u may feel it will add to your car.
