i dont know about rice but i know some people have used walnut shells because they burn off quickly it must work because nothing blew up in the process
Maybe the last owner of my Sunfire used rice down the tb, that's why it idles the way it does....

Ok guys, I'm back, we did it, and I got it on camera. However I'm having some difficulty getting the clip on my computer, since the camera put it in DVD format.
I will tell you all thought that his engine DID NOT blow up, it DID NOT stop running, and actually didn't seem to harm the engine at all. The rice is apparently supposed to clean the carbon deposits in the combustion chamber.
So it appears you guys will have to wait until tommorow for the video proof, but I guess we stand corrected... Dumping rice in your throttle body does NOT kill your engine. The car we did it on was a 95 Dodge Neon, 2.0 SOHC motor.

About 2 hours ago, a friends car was stolen WHILE HIS BACK WAS TURNED at a car wash getting some quarters. It was recovered minutes later about a mile away, like this:
It went through a metal fence, a concrete pole, and was found upside down. Two guys were reported RUNNING away from the scene into a getaway car.
Being just a couple miles from the border, we dont expect the guys to be found...
