03 rear "walking" problem
Sunday, October 25, 2009 10:40 AM

I just purchased an 03 cav. and I'm having trouble with the rear of the car. It feels like the back end actually shifts. Its hard to explain, but the rear end walks. I took it to the shop all the wheel bearings are good, all the bushings are good, and they said the struts appear good. The mechanic and I both noticed it does it when the back driver tire hits a bump. I've noticed it does it real bad on gravel road and it was pouring the other day and everytime I droped the back tire in the water filled road groove it got squirrelly. Can anyone help. I'm thinking its the strut but the mechanic said it was good cause it wasnt leaking.

Have you checked the alignment?
