Those are cake. It's got the plastic connector on one end, threaded on the other. I just hope plugs and TPS are the solution. It should be, there's no other codes, nothing else it could possibly be.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.
Bringing this back up, guy is out of the hospital. TPS, CPS and plugs have been changed as well as a fuel pressure regulator. It'll run very smoothly for about a second or two. You guys think maybe fuel pump or filter? With the sensors replaced, it's showing no more codes.

That's what we're going to do next. Since he's still sick, he may need me to work the jack, do some of the oddball work, etc... He did a pressure test after the regulator, and he wants to do one back at the fuel pump before the filter.

Hey man i know our cars arent even close to the same lol, but mine had sat for a log time and when i went to start my tank had stuff in it and clogged all my stuff up. I changed the filter, unhooked all fuel connections and flushed the whole system and it was fine after that idk if that will help ya out or not.

Actually they are brother. We have the same motor, same fuel system. I'm wondering if I didn't shake something loose at the filter, I mean it's getting fuel, but either not enough, or it's cutting out.

i would almost bet my life on it being the filter. but if it is, at this point in the game, save yourself the headache later on, and put in the pump too. if the filter is clogged so badly that you have drivability problems, it means the pump is now officially on borrowed time. especially if you hear it all loud. after you replace the filter, the pump will keep running faster like it is now, and eventually burn itself out. won't take too long. if we had a returnless system, we wouldn't have to worry about this, since pump speed/flow increases on those systems with demand, but with our cars, having a return system, the pumps keep pumping at one speed, and once they start to over work due to a restriction to work through, well, they kinda don't wanna stop overworking.
take out the filter, and (don't put your mouth on it directly) try to blow through it. if its at all difficult, replace filter and pump. if its easy, get back to the forum and tell us.
lol I ment build wise and the other car not the cavi i havnt had one problem with the cavi really haha but that is a huge poss. i know when mine is runing lean it will idle fine but as soon as you give it gas it falls on its face

Im not sure, but did u ever just remove the IAC and see if it starts and runs. Dont spray anything on it bc its only a coil with a plunger on the top. I know my 02 had the IAC go out, and it will run when i start and push the accel but die the min i let off of it. Sounds like what urs is doing. If would just remove it, dont disconnect is, just pull it out the throttle body and start the car, if it runs good (it might be a little higer idle due to the open hole in the throttle body) then change the IAC and should fix the problem. Hopefully that works!! Take care guys!! Also feel free to add ur .02 in my post, im going to need all the help i can get too lol
IAC isn't in the throttle body, it's in the intake tube. I'll try that. i'm going to also try to get the car to another shop, guy's back in the hospital, and I can't be without my car.
