Slave Cylinder

So today my slave cylinder went and I have a few questions. I just had the new clutch installed about 5,000 miles ago when the motor was swapped and I don't know if I need to put another new one in while replacing the slave cyl. Also, about how much should I expect to pay to replace the cyl? My car is a 99 z24.

You dont need to replace the clutch again, but why didnt you replace it when you had the clutch out, now you have to remove the transmission again to replace the slave cylinder

Well it kinda sucks that we have to pull the tranny again but I did buy a new transmission for it a little while back so I guess this is a good reason to put it in.
