I have a 2004 cavalier ls sport 2door and I cannot access my trunk because it is tied shut with ropes... I was wondering is there any way I can fold down my back seats without using the trunk release?????? please help

I remember one time I had locked my keys in my trunk, while the trunk release was disengaged...It was easier than I thought....I just used a flat head to "unlatch" it. from above.the seat.....The latch is located on the top of each seat ..Feel around with your finger, and once you find the latch...stick the flathead in there and either push to the left or right....can't remember which way........But you should figure it out, it was easy...good luck

you can puyll the lower secton of the seat off, unbolt the upper section and get in that way.
