clunk from front of car when shifting?

First off I have an automatic and latley it won't shift right it will stay in great for about anywhere from half k to a full 1k then shift THEN sometimes it will stay at3 grand and I won't push or let go of it then BAM feels like the tranny wants to jump outta the hood feels like a small accident jolt, but then I'll shut it off, restart it and it will work perfectly fine just like it was before it happed, usually only happens once or twice a day was wondering what it could be caused by? I'm Gunnar drop the pan soon and clean it out ans put new filter gasket and oil in it soon and see if that fixes it, if not any more ideas?

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,,,,,Torque is how far you take the wall with you

Check your engine (motor mounts) and transmission rubber flex mount.

Your drivetrain could be shifting from a bum mount and binding your transmission
