z24 clutch?
Saturday, May 02, 2015 4:00 PM
hey guys, i have a 2001 z24 5 speed, with what i think could very well be a potential problem, or nothing at all. when i rest my foot on the clutch( i dont rest my foot there, but i did to check it one day) and i felt a slight pulse in the clutch, not fully depressed but right where its grab point ends. its not a strong pulse, but its enough to notice if your paying attention. im not sure if this is a possible throwout bearing or just a normal cavy... also every once in a blue moon it doesnt want to go into first from neutral AFTER STOPPING COMPLETELY. if i let off the clutch once its back in neutral then try again, it normally goes, its pretty annoying in traffic though, since when im at a red light it goes in neutral and foot off clutch. any ideas as to what either of those could be? ALSO while im typing on this, what tempreature does your z24 run at idle for about 15 minutes after its fully warmed up? i ask this because mine goes to about 220 degrees (ive seen it go a smidge higher) answers would be greatly appreciated!
