2001 Cavalier 2.2 5-speed manual 190K

Forgive me if this has been asked/answered somewhere else.....

Is there a way to get to / visually inspect / clean / replace the AC evaporator from somewhere without totally destroying everything and ripping the entire dashboard out? I don't want to start unscrewing the panels in the middle and around the blower motor if it is going to result in just a waste of time.

not that I know of... pretty sure it all has to come out. Dash etc...

My 99 had to come out under dash wasn't to bad just had to take my time. And since I had it all off I painted every thing with some high grade epoxy paint to keep it all from cracking in the future. Plus shot a nice blue urethane on some parts looked good after. Good luck onnot cracking it though.
