Replacing a 1998 2.4L with a 2001 2.4L engine

There is information in this forum about what a person has to do to swap these engines. Can anyone please confirm if this is all that needs to be done? If so, where did the information come from? I don't want to get caught in the middle of this project and it not work at the end. Thank you for your help

If you read the Twin Cam sticky in the performance forum....you will should read everything you need to now.


Just use all the 98 sensors, fittings, and manifolds.
