Hey everyone long time no see. I have inherited a cavalier with a p0440 code. Smoke tested the car with valves closed and it didn't leak until the tank built up pressure and it released the excess pressure out of the vent hose coming down from the gas tank ..... I did a vent valve to no avail. The wiring is good and I can actuate each solenoid and hear them click. Thinking maybe it's the purge valve under the hood. Where is that little guy located pictures are great also any other opinions on the code ? Thanks everyone .
